The Prom Night That Brought Us Together, chapter 8
Katie hasn't thought about suicide in awhile, but she thought that this was the only thing that would be best for her. The death of her parents, her being alone with no one understanding her, about what she goes through, and now about her and Billie Joe. She still loved him, but she new that she was a dumbass for not going.
She ran into the bathroom and noticed there were sleeping pills and razors. She took the pills down with a drink of water and fell to the ground with a razor. She cut her wrists, and for her thinging that her pain is going away. One cut led to two, three, four, and five. She didn't know when to stop. After about the eighth cut she did, her body was feeling week. She passed out, haveing no regrets for what she did.

A few hours went by....
Billie Joe just turned on the T.V. and was flipping through channels. He came across something terrifing, something that scared him, and scared him for life.
He had the news on and the reporter was saying.
"Some time arounded 6:00 and 7:45pm today, a girl was found in her bathroom by her friend. The girl is about 18 and her name is Katie Johnson. The parametics said that she had swallon sleeping pills and cutted her wrists, this was suicide. Not knowing why she did it, but this is still a terrible story. Luckly her friend found her just in time." The reporter was saying.
Billie Joe had a thought that struck his head,"Oh my God, I know this girl. Oh my God, it's Katie. Why did she do this to herself, I thought I helped her to stop. I hope she alright, I knew I should have vistied her, but how dumb and I for not doing so."
Billie Joe had started to cry, just thinking about her, hopefully not to die.
The reporter was still rambling on, and then she said,"Now here is a word from Katies best friend, April."
"i can't believe that Katie did this to herself, I'm her best friend and I don't even know why she did this. But Billie Joe, if ou are watching this, she still loves you and she just didn't want to be hurt again. Billie Joe, she needs you." Katie even started to cry.
Then the reporter finished up, by saying,"Thank you April, now Katie will be at the closes hospital here. Also April, please tell your friend that we hope she is feeling better. Now back to you Steve."
The weither man started to ramble on saying,"Today it's 76 degrees out, and sunny...
Then Billie Joe was lost in his thoughts,"How could she have done this? April says that she still loves me, but how do I know, thats just April saying tgat, and maybe Katie doesn't love me anymore. Well, I'll find out when I go to the hospital."
Billie Joe got his coat and shoes on, got the car keys and went to the hospital. He was still thinking about Katie, she never left his mind.
Soon enough he arrived at the hospital. He ran into the building and asked the lady about Katie.
"Excuse me ma'am, but what room is Katie Johnson in?" Billie Joe said.
The lady searched for her name and founded it, she said,"#234."
Billie Joe started running off but did mange to say,"Thank you."
He went up the elavtor to level 2. He bot off, and he knew he was close because he saw #229, #230, #231, #232, #233, and finally #234. He went in and saw Katie asleep in bed and April crying. How he hated to see Kate like this.
