The Prom Night That Brought Us Together, chapter 9
After Billie Joe saw Katie in bed, with bandages on her wrists, he began to cry. He didn't want Katie to die, he loved her so much.
April wipped away her tears and she said,"Hi Billie Joe."
Billie Joe looked over to April and back to Katie saying,"Hi, is Katie going to be alright?"
Billie Joe was really worried for her.
April walked over to Billie and put her hand on his shoulder saying, "She's going to be alright, but she really needs you, she won't admit that she still loves you to me, but I know she does."
A tear came to Billie Joes eye. He sat on Katie's bed and began to cry.
He said, "April I see that Katie is asleep, so what I am going to tell you, you can't let Katie know, ok?"
April nodded her head in a yes and at the same time Katie was pretending that she was asleep.
Billie Joe stood up and began to say,"Well that night when me and Katie broke up when I was drunk and I was kissing some girl, well that morning I found myself sleeping with her, we were both naked. So I slept with her, and I didn't even know her, not even her name."
Aprils mouth droped. Then Katie couldn't take it know more, she was furious.
"How could you Billie Joe, how could you do this to me?" Katie said while bring herself up.
Billie Joe turned as quick as he could and he said,"You didn't here that Katie did you?"
Katie started to cry and said, "Yeah I did, how could you do this to me?"
Billie Joe began to studder,"I....I...a...
"Thats what I thought, you don't love me, I'm just a user to you."
Billie Joe sat on Katies bed and said, "No Katie, I love you. Do you know how much I missed you, how much I wanted you, just to be with you?"
Katie ignored him, but then said, "Same here, but when I hear you say about you sleeping with some girl you didn't even know, and stuff like that, then I start to wonder about you."
Billie Joe tried to give Katie a hug, but she rejected it.
"Please Katie, please forgive me. I still love you. That night I was just drunk and I didn't know what I was doing."
Katie was mad, she said,"Yeah but I bet you knew what you were doing to that girl."
Billie Joe was speechless, he then came out sayng, "I love you Katie, isn't that enough?"
She ignored him.
Billie Joe had enough, then said, "Well you know were I live, so if you ever do forgive me, you know were to go."
Billie Joe left and there was silence in the room.
