What is it that drawn you to this story? Is it because of the title? No. Is it because you were bored and just picked one? No. I know why. It's because we're the same in every way. You were drawn to this story because you felt the pull between the broken lives. Yes, I said it. BROKEN LIVES.
You may be one of those who "think" they have the perfect life. Parents are a picture perfect couple, you are a perfect replaca of an angel, with the hair and the teeth and the clothes. But, inside you are drowning. Your soul hurts. The boy you had fallen in love with, loves someone else. The boy who you now like, says "no" when you ask him out. Your parents are comparing you to the impossible. You feel as if you are living a lie. All the material things to hide the pain. Sound familiar?

Let's start from the beginning....I was born in October of 1987 and I was a "beautiful baby girl." When I was five my parents started getting into "spats." I didn't realize it because I was so young. When I was ten, I started noticing bruises on my mother's arm, I didn't think it was anything, because, well I didn't really think of that. On my 12th birthday, we were having a party. My mom told me to run inside and get some more cups. I said "Okay" and ran inside. Well I heard something in the laundry room, and I looked inside and I saw my father having sex with my best friend's mom. I, to say the least, was stunned. I never in a million years thought my father would sink that low. He heard me and all the sudden...
