What's a Band Like You Doing in a Crappy Place Like This?, chapter 1
"Raphealia! I don't feel so good!" shouted Mike Dirnt. "Well what's wrong?" I yelled out. "Your not here, I'm sick of not always being there for you." he replied. "Awwwww, what sappy pick up line book did you get that one from?" he yelled. "Hey, it's not a book, it's a website thank you!"

Ok, we'll start off with this, my name is Raphealia, I'm about 19. I'm punk so I used to be made fun of in school all the time. I'm out of high school now and I'm glad of it. Summer is finally here! I still live with my parents but as soon as I get my acceptance form from Berkeley, I'm getting out of this hell hole I call home. I have a gift, not an ordinary gift like a present, but a magic gift. I can communicate and transform into animals, most people who find out about that part of my life freak out, some try and force me to transform but I can only do it if I'm "free of pressure" so I can't be forced to do anything, whether it's sensible or not. I need to tell you my story about how I met some people that changed my life forever whom you call Green Day, I'll try and take it slow so you can keep up with it.
***
My parents are business people, that's how they actually met, my dad was busy talking on his cell phone while my mom was running out of her office, doing errands for the top boss and they ran into each other. My parents said it was "meant to be" but I just think they ran into each other in the office. They often leave me behind at the house all alone, they spoiled me which I hated, I have 3 horses and 2 show dogs that live on our 9 acre farm, whom I train myself. I didn't want this animals but I've grown attached to them while my parents were away. I often talk to them, they're my only friends that I have in this world. Ok, back to the story, here is how it all happened.
***
I was walking down my long driveway with my 2 dogs, whose names are incredibly long, Kujo's Worst Rival, and Rain Falling From the Stars, I know it's stupid but the shows expect a long name so I gave it to them. I saw a tour bus on the side of the road with 3 men looking at it, one was shorter then the rest with black hair that seemed to stick out all over the place, and green eyes that seemed to change when he turned his head, he looked really sick, his eyes were bloodshot and the skin under his nose was red probably from blowing his nose as he sniffed up snot. Then there was the tallest one, with blonde hair and blue eyes and a serious expression planted on his face. The third was one with a brunette fauxhawk and was running around the bus with a stupid grin on his face that didn't seem to ever go away and beating drumsticks on every surface. "You know if you keep staring at it, it's not going to move!" I yelled out to them. They all stopped looking at the bus and looked at me like I was crazy. Kujo's Rival starting growling, he didn't get the name because he was sweet tempered. "Shush Kujo." I whispered, he understood and stopped but asked me why. I told him it was because I didn't want him to scare these men away so he backed off of growling. "What was that?" the guy with the drumsticks asked. "Nothing," I replied, "I'm talking to my dog." He shrugged his shoulders as if it was a normal thing and continued on beating his drumsticks. The blonde haired guy beckoned me over with his hand and said "what did you say?"
"I said, if you keep staring at the bus, it's not going to move." I replied. He shook his head and said "I know but we can't get it out and it's so hot out, Billie's sick," he said pointing at the black haired guy who I guess was Billie,"and we don't have any medicine." he said concerned.
"I can help." I offered.
"How?" he looked at me with interest. I whistled for my horses, they all came galloping up to the railing and I looked over at the blonde hair guy, "In exchange for my help, give me all of your names I said." They all looked at me and then my animals. The drumstick guy was the first to come up to me and shake my hand, "I'm Cool, Tre' Cool" he said in a James Bond tone and I giggled. I saddled up my horses as quick as I could and told my horses to stand by their favorite person. "I'm Mike" said the blonde haired guy. "and I'm Dillie." said the black haired guy as he sneezed. "Dillie?" I asked. "Sorry, my name is Billie" he said.
The horses stood by the men. My clydesdale that I used for riding stood Mike since he was the tallest, and my two quarter horses stood by Billie and Tre'. "Mount up." I said. They looked at me nervously then at the horses. I rolled my eyes and helped all of them up, Mike didn't know a single thing about animals and Tre' was an expert, I told my clydesdale to only do as I say. He bobbed his head, as if to nod and waited patiently. Billie was exhausted so I rode with him, I made him mount up and then sat behind the saddle, my arms around his waists and grabbed the reins and kept a close eye on Billie as he sat there. "Mike." I said, Mike looked at me as if to say what? "Hold on really really tightly to the reins, grab onto my horse's mane, and get ready to run, he nodded and did as I said, Tre' did too but he was more relaxed then Mike. "Hi-ah!" I screamed out as the horses broke into a gallop. Mike was terrified but held on as much as he could while Billie was trying to relax. After about 3 minutes of galloping and the dogs trying to keep up, we reached the house. "Come on you two, hop off and let's get inside.
Mike didn't need to be told twice, he jumped off as soon as he could, my clydesdale took good care of him. I ran inside while Tre' and Mike helped Billie inside. I looked through my medicine cabinet and saw some cold and flu medicine that made people go to sleep, maybe that will help. I made Billie take the medicine and he was out like a worn out light bulb. "Oh my gosh, how could we ever thank you?" Mike said, "the tour is stressing him out." I nodded and watched Billie sleep on my couch with tiny snores escaping his mouth, I giggled as he started talking. "Oh Mikey boy, can't you see how I love thee?" I couldn't help it, I kept giggling as Mike raised his eyebrows in an amused expression. After about a hour of Billie's ramblings, he finally woke up. "Where am I?" he asked Mike. "Chill dude, some girl saved you," Mike replied. " I do feel better, I guess," Billie answered. "All I remember is feeling wind in my hair and someone behind me with arms wrapped around me, man, it was like paradise." Billie said in a dreamy tone. I giggled and Mike started to laugh. "What? What'd I say?" Billie asked innocently. "Billie, my name is Raphealia, that was me," I said slowly. His eyes went wide as he realized that it was me that made his "paradise" come true. He fainted and went back to sleep and continued snoring.
"Raphealia? What kind of name is that?" Mike asked me while I got everyone a soda. Tre' Cool was out in the pasture playing with the foal that I'm expected to train. "I don't know, my folks are loopy so I don't know how my name came up," I answered while chugging my soda. I belched loudly and accidentally made Billie stir and Mike began to laugh while I blushed. "Man, you're like no girl I ever met, I like that about girls," he smiled at me. "Well I'm one of a kind that's for sure," I smiled back at him. He finished his soda and looked at Tre' playing with the foal whom I haven't named yet. They got alone great. "How do you do that?" Mike asked. "How do I do what?" I replied with a question. "Like how do you train them so well?" he asked curiously.
"Well........."
