Lost Thoughts, chapter 4
***The next Morning***
You wake up to the obnoxious buzzing of your alarm clock. You reach over blindly and search for the aggravating thing. Finally, you find it and shut it up. You lay there a few minutes. Then you remember you are suppose to spend the day with the guys. You get up and walk over to your closet. You grab some jeans and a black and blue long sleeved shirt. You walk into the bathroom and take a quick shower. You get ready quickly and run down the stairs. You run into the kitchen and grab your lighter and a bottle of water before jogging to the door you lean down and open a little box by the door and pull out what you had left of you stash. You look over and see your mom passed out on the couch. 'I wonder if she turned the t.v. off, it's usually always on....Billie must have turned it off I guess.' you think as you lock the door and walk out.
You see the guys walking up in the distance as you near the corner. You smile as they walk up to you. Mike walks up to you and gives you a hug "Good morning!" He says as he lets go. "Morning" You say. You look over at Billie Joe and give him a hug "Good morning." You say as he hugs you back. "You too." He says holding you tightly. Tre' seems distracted by a car going by. You all start to walk to Mike's house. When you finally get there you cook some breakfast and you all go out back. "Hey Mike, where did I put those papers?" Billie Joe says after you all finish your first joint. "Um over there." Mike says pointing to a chair beside Tre'. "Hey lets play twister!" Tre' says as Billie Joe grabs the pack of papers. "Anyone want to play?" Tre' asks happily. "I'll play." You say laughing. "I'll play." Mike says laughing too. "Billie Joe are you gonna play?" You ask as Mike gets up to go get the game. "Um I'll be the spinner guy." He says continuing what he was doing. You look at him thoughtfully "Okay." You say and smile. "What do I get if I win?" Tre' says as Mike emerges from the house with the game. You shrug and take the box from Mike. "We'll figure it out after the game." Billie Joe says. You set up the game and lay the spinner in Billie Joe's lap. He looks up and you and smiles "Good luck." He says. You smile and take a hit of his joint before turning and walking back over to the mat. You all play for a while and eventually get bent in all kinds of crazy ways, mostly cheating the whole time but no one really cares.
"Shit, Mike that's my foot!" Tre' says.
"Sorry man." Mike says as he laughs making him lose his balance and fall almost knocking Tre' down with him.
"Hey do any of you have a lighter this one just ran out?" Billie Joe says.
"Yeah I do, but your gonna have to come get it I'm not losing to Tre'" You say holding your balance bent backward over Tre'. Billie Joe gets up and walks over to you. "Okay where is it?" He says. "In my back pocket." You say quickly. He reaches around you trying not to knock you over and reaches into your pocket. "Other one." You say almost knocking Tre' down. "Hey!" Tre' says. "Sorry!" You say as Billie reaches into your other pocket. You can't help but laugh at how silly this must look as he pulls it out and laughs. "Okay, thanks Jess." He says turning around. "Hey Tre' Left foot red!" Mike yells. For Tre' this is impossible and he falls making you fall with him landing on his back laughing hard. You roll over as Billie Joe, Mike and Tre' all continue laughing. Billie Joe walks over and pulls you up. You almost lose your balance and catch yourself on him, he wraps his arm around your waist and walks you to the table where Mike was. "Hey Tre' get up lets go get some popcicles!" Mike says pulling Tre' up. "Okay, hey are we out?" Tre' says looking at the table. There are four more joints already rolled. "Yeah that's the last of it." Mike says getting up. "Wait." You say reaching in your pocket and pulling out the rest of what you had. "Here, we still have this." You say handing it to Billie Joe. "Alright Jessie!" Tre' says and gives you a high five. You laugh as him and Mike walk inside to search for popcicles. You look over at Billie Joe and smile. "Jessie..."Billie Joe says motioning for you to lean closer "Yeah?" You say leaning over. "You look really beautiful right now." He says looking into your red tired eyes. You smile as you lean over and start to kiss him. He pushes your hair back and puts his hand behind your neck. You lean over more slowly and run your hand up his chest gently. You pull back finally and look in his eyes. You smile as he looks into your eyes. "wow..." You whisper softly. Billie Joe blushes and smiles "So does that mean if I ask you to be more than my friend..." he starts. You cut him off by kissing him again. You feel him smile. You pull away when you hear Mike and Tre' coming toward the door laughing.
"I can't believe you threw a popcicle at my cat man!" Mike says laughing as him and Tre' walk out of the house, each holding two hand fulls of popcicles. Billie Joe moves his chair closer to yours as you take a popcicle from Mike.
"So who won anyway?" Tre' says.
"Tre' you lost man, sorry." Mike says opening a popcicle.
"Aww man, well what does she get for winning then?" Tre asks.
You look over at Billie Joe and start laughing. Mike raises his eyebrows in curiosity. "Nothing." You say looking at Mike.
"No you have to get something!" Tre' protests.
"Tre' I'm going to give her something don't worry about it." Billie Joe says hushing Tre'.
You all continue talking about crazy stuff until finally Billie Joe suggests going inside. Mike puts in a movie and sits in a chair. You lay down on the couch and lay your head in Billie's lap. Tre' sits on the floor and grabs a pillow. You fall asleep fast holding Billie Joe's hand. You wake up to the sound of the static noise of the t.v. You get up and turn it off and look at the three guys sleeping in front of you. Mike is leaned over his chair sleeping soundly, Tre' is sprawled across the floor with his head turned to one side snoring lightly, and Billie Joe is leaned over the opposite of where you had been breathing deeply. You watch his chest rise and fall for a few minutes. You look around for a piece of paper and find one loose in you pocket. You pull out a pen and write a note before you leave. You slip it into Billie Joe's hand where yours was and kiss him gently on the cheek before leaving.
Billie Joe wakes up about ten minutes after you leave. He sits up and looks around. Mike and Tre' are still asleep. He opens his hand and unfolds the paper. It says:
Billie Joe,
I decided to head home. If you were still wondering I would love to be more than friends. Well if you want you can come by later. Today was really fun, we should definitely do it more often. Well I hope to see you soon!

Billie Joe smiles as he stands up and puts the note in his pocket. He walks over and wakes Mike up.
"Hey man, I'm gonna head on home okay. I'll see you later, tell Tre' he can have Jessie's popciles." Billie Joe whispers.
"Okay later, but oh hey are you and Jess like together?" Mike asks quietly trying not to wake Tre'.
Billie Joe smiles and Nods. Mike smiles as Billie Joe turns to leave.
