Lost Thoughts, chapter 6

Your mind races as you try to think of what to do. You shake Billie Joe but he doesn't move....it's as if he is lifeless. You start to tremble as you run to your closet but the banging on your door grows louder and harder. You are trying your best to concentrate but your thoughts are jumbled. You curl up in the corner of your closet and start to cry.
"Jessie. Jessie, wake up." Billie Joe says softly shaking you. You open your eyes and see Billie Joe looking over you. You pull him close to you and start crying into him.
"Jess, what's wrong?" He says rubbing your back comfortingly.
"I...had a dream....that you were....you were dead...and someone...was trying to get...get in here..." You says inbetween sobs.
"Jessie it's okay, it was only a dream. I'm fine and you're fine and no one's trying to get us. Everything's okay I promise. You are with me and I'm not going to let anything happen to you." Billie Joe says kissing your forehead.
"I'm glad I'm with you." You say laying your head on his shoulder. You lay there a while longer as you calm down.
"You want something for dinner?" You say sitting up reluctantly.
"Sure." Says Billie joe as you get up off the bed. You start towards the door as he gets up and walks behind you. You feel his hand slip into yours as you open the door and start to the kitchen.
"Well Aren't you two just adorable." You mom says actually kind of sober for once. you feel your face turn red but laugh when Billie Joe's does the same. You both sit down at the table.
"I'm making some rice do you two want any?" she asks turning back to the stove.
"Sure." You say as Billie Joe nods.
She makes your plates and you both finish relatively soon. "Hey mom, I'm um going to walk with Billie Joe to his house. I'll be back later okay?" You say quickly grabbing his hand and walking into the lounge. "Okay just be back soon!" You hear her say as you grab your coat.
