Bleed to Love Her, chapter 4
"Ughh...my head," said Sayako, getting off the evening plane to Los Angeles. She was paying a visit to her friend Mason, and she left the airport, getting into a taxi, riding off to her suite at a hotel.
"Hey, Char!" yelled Mason across the main hall.
"Mason! For the last fucking time, call me Sayako!"
"Fine, just get over here!" she walked over to him, and they went upstairs to the penthouse suite that she was staying in. "So how are you?"
"It's all good, brother," she said, putting her suitcase by the bed. "Anything good in town tonight?"
"Yeah, Green Day is coming tomorrow."
"Oh, you're not serious, are you?"
"I'm damn serious. They're coming down to the Staples Center," Mason popped open a can of Budweiser, then took a huge gulp of it down his throat.
"Well, I gotta head up to the rooftop," she said, seeing a white feather drop to the ground.
"You still got that?"
"Yeah, unfortunately..."
"I gotta see Adrienne tonight, since she forgot to drop off my temporary antidote."
"Alright, see you..."

Adrienne heard a small tapping on the window as she saw Sayako peering in. "What the hell?"
"You forgot something, and I'm visiting Mason in L.A.," she said, climbing in through the window. Billie sat up, and he saw two white feathers fall to the floor.
"You are not to tell anyone what you are witnessing," said Adrienne, with a little danger in her tone.
"What is going on?"
"Due to me being the fraternal twin, I've also inherited a permanent mutation. I'm an-"
"Charlotte! Can we keep quiet our family traditon?"
"No, I wanna know, Adie."
"I'm sorry, Billie, but this is to be left secret."
"I need to sleep somewhere..." said Sayako, getting to her feet.
"Find a room downstairs."
Sayako went downstairs and she found some random room and sat on the edge of the bed, sighing heavily. She heard a soft muffle, and she turned to see Mike.
"Hey, bed head," she said, seeing his hair messed up on the top of his head.
"What are you doing here?"
"This time, I'm the one paying a visit. So how's life?"
"Crummy...Brittney left when she found out about us."
"Who's Brittney?"
"My until recently girlfriend."
"Oh..." she couldn't help but fall in love with the cuteness of his hair being messy on the top of his head as he was a silhouette in the dim moonlight.
"How are you?"
"Still the same...mind if I join you?"
"Not at all," he said, moving over so that she could have room to sleep. She crawled under the covers, trying not to let her 'secret' be revealed. She felt his arms slide around her waist as he kissed her forehead. "I missed you..."
"I gave you my phone number, why didn't you call?"
"Long distance is a bitch to pay these days..." he kissed down her neck, and back up to her earlobe, where he gently yanked on her hanging skull and crossbones earring. As she felt his lips travel around her shoulders, she allowed him to slide down the sleeves of her blouse, revealing the rest of the tattoo he had seen before.
