Bleed to Love Her, chapter 6
"Err...I can't sleep..." Mike groaned.
"Me too..." Sayako yawned. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her deeply. With out warning, she kissed around his jawline to his right ear, and gently tugged on hs earring. He pulled her back, and he gave her a mind-blowing kiss, pulling her into the oldest act of passion.
When Mike woke up in the morning, he had noticed that Sayako wasn't there. but there was a note she had left on the nightstand.
Hey,
If you really wanna know what my family secret is, track me down after the concert tonight, and I'll tell you then.
Sayako XXXX
He put the note down, and he groaned, running his fingers through his brunette hair.
-8:30 pm, Staples Center, Los Angeles-
"Let's go, everyone!" said Billie, leading everyone out to the stage to begin the two-hour concert at the Staples Center.
After the show, there was an enormous party down at the closest bar, and everyone(except for Sayako and Mike) became as drunk as anyone could get. After having to drive everyone home, Mike came back to the bar, seeing Sayako beginning to leave.
He went through the leaving crowd, looking for Sayako. He spotted her near the entrance, and he brought her out to the back.
"So...the family secret...what is it?" he asked.
"Come with me," she wrapped her arms around him, and(after making sure no one could see them) she left her wings unfold from her back, bringing the both of them to the roof of the Staples Center. "My family secret...okay, so: Every fraternal twin born in our family receives the curse of becoming an angel or a demon, or, almost never, both."
"Which one are you?"
Her eyes welled with tears as her eyes slowly became a golden-amber tinge. "I'm..."
"You're a demon?"
"No...I'm both." She dropped her head in her hands, and cried. He wrapped his arms around her, trying to get her to stop crying.
"Sayako...it's okay," he whispered, trying to calm her. He gently kissed her cheek, and held her close. She sobbed into his shoulder, and she kissed him back.
It's not okay, Mike...I'm a hybrid, and you're a himonculus. I saw the mark on your wrist last night."
"I don't care. We love each other, don't we? And besides, I won't let Daunte or Envy touch you, because I love you..." She looked up at him, and kissed him softly.
"C'mon, let's get out of here..."
Sayako sat on Adrienne's roof again, thinking about how things would work between her and Mike, how a himonculus and a demon/angel hybrid are meant to be sworn enemies, but now the two of them are in love? Something had to be wrong there...
She felt a sudden pain shoot through her back, as she recieved a knife in her back, and was dragged off the roof. She tried screaming for help, but she couldn't let anything come out. She managed to scratch her one of her captors, but she fell into complete darkness.
The next morning, Adrienne had gone out to get Sayako off the roof, only to see a trail of blood leading from where she sat, to the left side of the driveway.
"Billie!" she screamed, and he came outside, with a band-aid covering a scratch on his face. "How'd you get that scratch?"
"The stupid neighbor's cat," he mumbled, but he knew just exactly how he got the scratch, and it wasn't from a cat at all.
