Bleed to Love Her, chapter 7
"Hey, I've got to be somewhere really quick, then I'll be right back," said Billie.
"Alright then," Adrienne quickly kissed his cheek as he got into the black BMW in the driveway.

Sayako opened her golden-amber eyes as she looked around in the room she was in. There were no windows, and a dark figure stood at the only door. She focused on the figure, and there stood...
"Mason?"
"That's right. I attacked you after I saw you and Rage on the roof of the Staples Center, because it's my job to take you hybrids out," he smirked.
"Oh yeah? Well, what are you gonna do once I tell Daunte that you're a hybrid as well?"
"You wouldn't dare..."
"Who do you think I am? I'm Charlotte Nesser, I dare to to anything, remember?" Sayako's gaze shifted as Daunte appeared in the room, and she quickly made her wings vanish, making her look like she was just a demon with her eyes, fangs and two-inch nails.
"Well, looky here, Gluttony. It's Sayako the hybrid," she said, patting the head of a shorter, chunky humonculi.
"I'm not the only hybrid here, Daunte," Sayako growled. "In fact, your beloved Pride, is half angel, half himonculus."
"You liar..." Daunte glared at her, then she noticed that Mason was starting to open the door, but a powerful punch in his gut sent him flying.
"Traitor," he growled, wiping the blood from his lip as he saw Billie stand in the doorway.
"Thank you," Billie smirked. "You're so kind, you know that, Pride?"
"Oh shove it, would you?" Billie and Mason were left to their own little fight as Sayako finally managed to cut the ropes that bound her, getting up to swipe her nails across Daunté's face, and beneath the skin was a rotting under layer of skin.
"What's the matter, can't find a suitable body that won't rot once and after you've moved into it?" Sayako sneered as she punched Daunte's face.
"It's suitable enough, the rotting's just the bitch of it..." she left a trail of cut marks down Sayako's left arm. She snapped her fingers, and several snake-like ropes bound her against the wall. "I could finish you now, and I can tell Rage that you failed to kill me."
"What the hell are you talking about?" said Sayako, feeling the ropes tighten around her waist.
"I'll tell you..."
::Flashback(1999)::
"Get out of my house!"
"With pride!"
The rain pounded against the ground as a slightly younger Mike Dirnt walked out to the abandoned Oakland streets. He thouhgt he heard someone from behind say his name, but he saw no one as he turned around. The same thing occurred every three minutes, and it began to agitate him. At the other end of the avenue, he saw a teenager with black hair stand on the corner, talking with an older woman.
"Shouldn't you two be inside?" he called out to them. The woman turned to look at him.
"Why? Sure, it's raining...but we like the rain," she replied.
"Hey, what's with the look of rage on your face?" asked the teenager. His voice was exactly the same as the voice Mike swore he heard saying his name every now and then.
"You. You've been following me, agitating me by making me think I was cracking by hearing someone call for my attention when no one was even there," his blue eyes intensified with irritation. "Plus, my wife was just bitching at me, and she kicked me out."
"You'd be perfect for the spot..." mumbled the woman.
"What spot?"
"As Rage, one of our recently deceased himonculi."
"What the hell is a-"
"A himonculus is a living human without a soul, just like me," said the teenager. "We're named after the sins, like Greed, Lust... Me? I'm the one known as Envy."
"Uh-huh... So what do you do as a himonculus?"
"We go around, assassinate people like military agents, and even normal people we despise. But we're losing alot of other himonculi because there are some demons(I say some, 'cause himonculi are like demons in a way), angels, and hybrids of both killing us off. We wanna get more of us so we can get rid of them."
"But why would you want to kill?"
"Because, humans are pathetic. Consumed by their greed and whatnot," said the woman. "Especially Americans... They say they are free, but they're still limited. As a himonculus, you're truly free. Free from everything the government limits you to. So what do you say?"
"To what, being a himonculus?"
"Yes, to be our new Rage. This may agitate you even further, but we've been monitoring you for a while, and we've noticed that you have quite the temper and a streak of rage. But anyway...what do you say?"
"Fine then," the woman handed him a small pill, and he cocked his eyebrow in confusion.
"I'm being nice to you and letting you have the painless way of becoming one of us," she said. "Take it with some water or some alcohol if you want it to work faster."
"I didn't quite catch your name," said Mike, pocketing the small pill.
"It's Daunte. We'll see you again, eventually," the woman called Daunte disappeared with Envy like smoke, and Mike continued his walk toward Billie Joe's home.
::End Of Flashback::
"Really? Is that everything that happened?" growled Sayako as she held the tears of pain and anger back.
"Every word of it was true," said Mike from the doorway.
"Well, if it isn't Rage, our betraying partner," sneered Pride.
"Shut up, Pride," Mike growled, sending a jaw-busting punch at him. He turned to Daunte, with complete anger devouring the calmness in his eyes, and he slapped her hard across the face.
"You double-crosser, you'll pay," Daunte got closer to Sayako, and stabbed her nails into her shoulders, sending a white-hot pain through her body. "And your girlfriend will be the perfect price." Mike let his rage get the best of him, and his eyes went from blue to an angry violet like Pride's eyes. A black mark appeared on his wrist, it looked like a six-pointed star surrounded by a large serpent with its tail in its mouth(if you've seen Fullmetal Alchemist, you'd know what I'm saying...).
"Michael..." Sayako whispered. "Help me."
"I will," he assured her, then turning to Daunte.
"Oh fuck, he's nearly full-fledged," said Pride, backing up. "I'm out of here."
"Bloody chicken...this isn't the last of us, traitor," Daunte mumbled. She left in a whisp of black smoke, and Mike quickly returned to his normal state. He slid his arms around Sayako's body, holding her up since she was lacking the strength to stand.
"Mike, am I gonna be okay?" she barely spoke into his ear.
"You're gonna be just fine. Close your eyes, and we'll take you home," he whispered, watching her close her eyes.
"I'm not so sure about that, Mike. Look at her wound," Billie said, indicating the four stab marks where Daunte pierced her skin. It looked like a blood poisoning wound(or like if you inject too many drugs in through your elbow), only the colouration was a black, and the lines stretched further out. "That's demon poisoning, it'll tear her insides apart."
"Then let's get out of here," he carried her out of the abandoned building, and followed Billie back to his house.
"Alright then," Adrienne quickly kissed his cheek as he got into the black BMW in the driveway.
