Extraordinary Girl, chapter 2
Monday Morning
Siyah, Mike and Me walking to school...
"You guys coming Gilman tonight?" asked Mike. I nodded.
"Of course" said Siyah,
"Sweet, our bands gonna be performing next week."
I smiled "really Mike? That's amazing",
Tre, Billie Joe and Mike had their own band their name was sweet Children but they recently changed it to Green day and trust me they rocked.
"Yeh it is I'm kinda nervous though" said Mike scratching his head.
"Well don't worry you guys are great, you'll do fine." I replied.
We walked the rest of the journey to school in silence.
When we got to school there were some jocks standing at my locker fighting, with everyone gathering around them. I sighed and folded my arms, this would last a while
I looked at my timetable. DOUBLE MATH "great" I sighed as soon as the jocks broke it off I got my books and walked off to Miss Jeremson's lesson.
Unfortunately I was late.
"Why Miss Yasemin, what makes you think you can come to my lesson late" she said as soon as I opened the door.
"Sorry miss" I replied.
"Very well go and sit down next to Janice Hoppkin, we have a new seating arrangement." I cringed Janice Hoppkin?!?!?! I hated that girl; she was one of those cheerleaders that liked to date every guy in the school and was totally anti punk.
I rolled my eyes, grabbed my bag and went to sit down, edging as far away from her that I could, she stunk of perfume so badly, it was sickening. Miss Jeremson then announced that we had a test, I groaned and I put my head down on my desk; this was so far not a good day.
Finally the bell rang for lunch; I was so relieved that I practically ran out the class chanting in happiness.
I got something to eat in the cafeteria and sat down with the others.
"Hey Yas" smiled Billie. I smiled back at him; he was just so cute, we locked eyes and smiled.
"You look really drained" commented Tre I sighed and looked away from Billie.
"I am, try having double math in the morning, not exactly pleasurable" I said putting my head in my hands.
"Well... Shall we ditch the rest of the day at school and just hang out?" asked Billie casually.
"Yes, lets" agreed Siyah putting her arm around Billie and resting her head on his shoulder.
"So that's that then" smirked Tre, and with that we all got up and walked out of school.
