Am I Dreaming?, chapter 4
*At the Concert*
*Kyle's POV*
"Kyle, this is SO amazing! I can't believe you did this just for MY birthday! I'm the luckiest girlfriend in the WORLD."
"Aww. I'm just glad you like it." Wow. I'm so glad she likes it. She won't EVER forget the surprise yet to come.
*No one's POV!*
As the couple waited to enter the giant stadium, for a moment, Cali forgot about all they had been through and just relaxed in Kyle's arms. It felt just so good to be living like the couple they should be. But now Cali couldn't help but think of what causes Kyle to be on and off abusive...
Seeing that Cali was in deep thought he said, "Do you want anything before the show?" She simply replied, "No! I can't wait any longer as it is!" With that being said, the two went back to holding hands silently.
After what seemed like forever, the couple was allowed into the stadium to take their place in the front row. Cali had been only dreaming about going to an American Idiot concert. Now here she was. Then they finally got to their places.
After a while the band came onstage and the crowd went wild, as they always do. They started to play American Idiot while Kyle and Cali partied to it.
Suddenly, after playing 'Letterbomb' Billie cut the music and walked to the microphone. He said these words," Hey, I know you guys wanna get back to the music, but first I gotta say this. I talked to this guy earlier. His name is Kyle. Well, he said he has an AMAZING girlfriend, and today is her birthday. He said he went through all this trouble to find two tickets to front row seats at our concert. I said "Well, a girl worth that much is worth meeting." So now I say: If your names are Cali and Kyle will you PLEASE come to the stage!"
Cali was speechless. This was unexpected!! But, she followed Billie's instructions and made her way to the stage. Her and Kyle stood there as the band played their own version of 'Happy Birthday'. After it was over, Billie and Cali hugged and shook hands. He promised to meet them later backstage for a few drinks. The couple excepted and made their way back to their seats.
*Backstage after the concert*
"Well it was nice to meet you Cali. Kyle says your a big fan." Billie said. "Well, yeah." Cali was still in shock and this was all she could manage to say. "Well lets have a beer already!!!" Tre insisted. They all laughed.
"Well,"Billie said sighing," I think I'm about as drunk as I can get!"
"Yeah me too!" Kyle agreed. "Oh my gosh. Men. You just don't know when to quit do yeah?" Cali said. "I guess we better go then. Kyle is gonna need his sleep. Well it was nice meeting you." Cali said. They all said their goodbyes and Cali escorted Kyle out the door. "Get the hell away bitch!" Kyle yelled and slapped Cali in the face. "HEY!! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM!?" Billie yelled. Tre was way ahead of him tackled Kyle to the ground. Mike followed Tre's lead and dog piled on him too. Billie ran to Cali and said, "Hey, are you okay?"
*Kyle's POV*
