You Know I Love You, Wright?, chapter 2

Ramona and her family were at the skate park, having a blast. A few of Ramona's real friends were there too.

"Hey Ray, I'm sorry about your dad, that's just fucked up," Mark said. Ramona shook her head and smiled a fake smile.

"Don't worry about it, let's just have fun. I'll race you down the half pipe," she said, and she, Mark and Tasha all raced down the pipe.

Lisea and Derrick were watching them, and having a conversation about what they were going to do with Tre. "Honey, look at her, she's depressed, this is the third birthday he's missed!" Derrick said. Lisea sighed and shook her head.

"I know, but we should try to forget this, and let her have fun. She's happy with her friends," she replied. Derrick nodded. Then Lisea's cell phone rang.

"Hold on Derrick, let me answer this," Lisea said and walked over to a secluded area.

"Hello?" she asked into the phone.

"Hey Lis, is Ray there?" she heard Tre's voice asked. She grunted.

"Tre, leave her alone today, we don't want you to spoil her fun," she sighed. She heard Tre sigh on the other end.

"She is my daughter too!" she heard him protest. She wanted to strangle him.

"Then start fucking acting like it!" she hissed and hung up. She walked over to Derrick and smiled.

"Who was that?" he asked. Lisea just smiled and shook her head.

"No one," she replied, taking a sip of her Mountain Dew. Derrick sighed and smiled.

"Fuck, man!" Tre shouted, pulling at his messy hair. Mike came in and looked him like he was a clown.

"Is something wrong?" he asked getting a beer out of the mini fridge. His blue eyed drummer friend ran and hand threw his hair.

"Lisea won't let me talk to Ramona, she says she's pissed." he said and sighed. Mike just patted him on the back.

"You're going to see her, aren't you?" Mike asked, taking a sip from his Budweiser. Tre looked at him and smiled.

"Yeah, I miss her a lot," he said. Mike nodded understandingly. He hated being away from his Hero.

"You'll see her soon. She knows that you have a job, and she respects that." Mike said, shrugging. Tre sighed and tapped a beat on his knee.

"If only it was that easy." he said and stormed off to the outside of the bus.

"Wahoo!" Mark shouted as he landed on the ground. Ramona smiled at her best friend's antics.

"Having fun?" she giggled. Mark got up and smiled at her. He slid his arms around her as they went to go get a drink.

"Yeah, this is cool Mona," he said. Ramona smiled. She always had a crush on Mark, but wouldn't admit it. She gave him a friendly pack on the cheek.

"Yeah, it's great. It's cool to hang out with my friends," she said. Mark smiled at her. They both took a sip from their drink.

"Hey, look, there's Leah flirting with a guy." Ramona pointed out. Leah was a girl that didn't know how to skate...at all.

"Whoa, what is she doing here?" he asked. Ramona looked at him, and acknowledged him staring at her. She swatted his arm.

"It's not nice to stare," she joked. Mark blushed a million shades of red. Ramona just smiled.

"Sorry," he mumbled. Ramona laughed as they watched the guy Leah was flirting with squirm. Mark laughed too. Ramona and Mark share a smile, and before they knew it, their lips crashed. They both pulled away.

"Shit! I'm sorry, it's my entire fault," Mark said, blushing Ramona smiled and shook her head.
"No, it's mine too. I like you a lot, would you maybe like, to, um go out sometime?" she asked. Mark smiled and nodded.

"Remember, if something happens, we're always best friends first. Right?" Ramona asked. Mark nodded.

"Right," he said and they linked fingers.
