All the Time, chapter 3
When they arrived at the hotel they found their or rather Tre's room was ready. It was beautiful and big. It two bathrooms, 1 bedroom and a very large living/ kitchen area. Tre had decided to make a couple of those phone calls so Sam decided he might want a bit of privacy, so she wandered off to find the television set. She sat down on the leather couch and flipped through the channels. She saw Bewitched on, and decided to watch it.She could hear Tre arguing with someone.
"Damn it! Why the hell do you have to do this?"
"Don't give me that bullshit."
"I wanna- Hello! Hello!" Apparently who ever he was talking to had hung up. "Stupid piece of shit. Hey, watcha watching?"
"Bewitched."
"Oh, really? So like now you can turn me into a like a frog?"
"No Tre."
"Aww, so that means you can't like get belly dancers in this room?"
"No Tre."
"So that-"
"Tre! Sit and shut up! Please!" she said turning to face him. He did what he was told. He actually had been quiet for the whole show, only when he went to excuse himself to go the bathroom. The show ended, and the music started to play. She switched the set off. The hotel room phone rang.
"Hey Tre, you want me to get that?"
"Yeah." Seeing he was busy with trying to unpack but the zipper was broken.
"Hello?"
"Who's this?"
"Who's this?"
"I asked first."
"This is Sam, who's this?"
"Billie Joe."
"Hi, Billie Joe."
"Is Tre there, or do I have the wrong number?"
"Yeah Tre is here, but he's trying to get the zipper undone. On his suitcase. Can I take a message?"
"Ah yeah can you tell him I'll be up there in a few?"
"Yeah sure thing."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome. Bye." The phone clicked. She hung up and went to find Tre.
"Hey Tre?"
"Yeah?"
"Billie Joe says he's gonna be up in a few, ok?"
"Yep," he said still struggling with the zipper.
"Here, let me do that." He backed away. She shook the zipper a little bit and unzipped it. "There ya go."
"Thanks."
"Welcome." There was a knock on the door.
"Hey do you wanna get that?" she said pointing to the door. But it didn't matter because he was unpacking so he didn't see her. She opened the door.
"Hi, I'm Sam." She said holding our her hand for him and who she guessed was Adrienne.
"It's very nice to meet you. I'm Adrienne and this is Billie Joe." She said while elbowing Billie Joe.
"Thanks, Tre will be out in a second, come in." She shut the door. "Make yourselves at home. I'll go get Tre. Excuse me." She walked in to the bedroom, to find Tre trying to get the zipper unstuck again.
"Tre didn't I just fix that?"
"Yeah, but I thought I was done, so I zipped it up, and then I remembered I had something in there, so."
"I'll do it, Adrienne and Billie Joe are here."
"Ok." He walked out leaving her and the stuck zipper alone. She heard shouts who she assumed who were Billie Joe and Tre. Adrienne softly knocked on the door.
"Come in. Tre I swear-" She turned around to see who it was. "Oh, I'm sorry I thought it was Tre."
"It's fine, I thought you would like some company."
"That's great. I don't understand him, I fix this stupid zipper, then he breaks it again."
"Ha, I know what you mean, Billie Joe does that all the time. Men, they just don't get it."
"Yeah, especially Tre." She was concentrating on getting the zipper unstuck again. She shook it a bit and it came loose. "There! Done." She sat down on the bed.
"So, how are you? Were you on the same plane as Tre?"
"I'm fine thanks. Yeah we were."
"Oh, I didn't see you guys, if I did I would have come and said hi, if Tre would introduce us."
"Have you known Tre long?"
"We met on the plane, I'm going to visit my friend who lives here. Tre kinda sidetracked me. I was sleeping on the plane and he woke me up and somehow I ended up here. Do you mind if I make a phone call?"
"No, go ahead."
"Thanks." She took out her cell phone and dialed C.'s number. "Hi C! Sorry I didn't get to call earlier I got sidetracked. Yeah I met someone. I don't know what time I'll be there. I'll call you when I know. Ok, thanks. Bye." She put her phone back in her jeans pocket. She had changed when she was waiting for Tre to get off the phone. "Sorry 'bout that. I promised her I would call as soon as the plane landed, and you Tre happened so I didn't get a chance."
"That's fine, Shall we go see what they are up to?"
"Yeah, sure." They exited out the room. Sam shut the door. Adrienne had stopped short. Sam noticed this and gasped at what she saw.
