Memories seep from my veins, chapter 5
February 22nd
We didn't get caught. I just thought I would leave it there for when I find my Diary years later and remember how I almost got caught. Anyway, Mike and I are now a couple, no one knows, apart from me, Mike and Cassis, I had to tell her, she is my best friend and her face when I told her was so funny.
"I still can't believe it doesn't bother him that you're his best friend's little sister."
"I know but hey, I'm not complaining." I laughed. I looked at the time. "Sorry, Cass but I have to go. Mike's making us dinner.
"And what will follow this dinner. A movie, snuggling up on the sofa?"
"No, hot, steamy sex will follow the dinner."
When I got to Mike's, he was just coming down the stairs in a shirt.
"OOO, don't we look sexy."
"You know what; I was just about to say the same thing about you," he said as he kissed me. "So, you like?"
"Like, I love."
"Good. So, dinner will be another ten minutes, so what do you want to do while we wait?"
"I could think of a few things," I said as I put my arms round his neck.
We made out on the sofa until Mike smelled burning.
"Shit" He ran into the kitchen and pulled something black out of the oven.
"What was that?" I asked, trying not to burst out laughing.
"Veggie lasagne," he moaned as he threw the dish in the bin. "I just wanted tonight to be perfect."
"Hey, it doesn't matter, as long as I'm with you, it is perfect."
"We'll order Chinese."
"Nah, I want to skip dinner."
"Ok," he smiled wickedly.
As I lay with Mike's arms around me, I felt strange. When I told Cassie about it, she squealed.
"What."
"I think you're in love. Oh my god, I never thought I'd see the day when you fell in love."
"I am not in love."
"Well okay, but soon you will realise that you are. So what is it like dating an older man?"
"I dunno, it's no different from dating a guy our age, he acts the same age as me but is more loving than a guy our age." We were both thinking when my phone went off. "Hello."
"Hey Scarlet, it's Billie. Where are you?"
"Cassie's, why?"
"I want you to come home and babysit Joey and Jake."
"Fine." I hung up. "Cassie, I have to go, Billie wants me to babysit.
"Bye."
