Don't Lie...You know You Still Love Me..., chapter 4
*2 months have passed. Liz is actually getting over Jack... but Jack has yet to get over Elizabeth. He still wont show her that he cares, and Liz is tired of waiting. By now this little girl has moved on to the new guy, who had just moved from Califorina..*
"Slut!" Jack called after Amber as her and Liz walked by.
"What the hell was that for?" Asked Amber is shere shock.
Amber was one of Elizabeth's friends.. and also Jack's ex-girlfriend, before Liz.
"Why did he do that? Whats his fucking problem?"
Amber really couldn't understand why Jack had called her that. Ok maybe they didn't have the best breakup but he should have gotton over that, but she is however dating his friend now, but Jack always held a grudge, and it was hard for him to admit that he was wrong.
"Amber, just forget about him, do you want to go back and kick his ass?" joked Liz.
Elizabeth was doing really well now. Sure she still had the memorys and she still missed Jack, but there was nothing going on. She got the feeling that he did think about her, but he didn't do anything to show that he was sorry. She couldn't take it anymore, and one night she said, "Fuck this".
She hated waiting for him, although she knew she would probley be waiting for him forever. Of course she loved him, but it was time to move on. Nothing was going to change, and Jack would always have those depressing looks on his face in the hall and he would always look at Liz in that longing way.
Every time she saw Jack in the hall way he always gave her that look... or he would just look down on the floor. Elizabeth hasn't seen him truely happy in over 3 months. She wanted to cheer him though his dreary hours... but she couldn't.
She wanted too though. It took alot for this little girl to move on, but she finally did, and her attention was swifted from Jack to the new kid, Billie Joe.
Now Billie Joe had moved to Liz's town a couple of months ago, (yet everyone still called him the new kid) But she hadn't really noticed him, with her still being involved with Jack. But a couple of weeks ago Elizabeth bumped into him in the hallway. They were the only two in the hall at the time and he flashed her a smile that she fell in love with instantly. Ever since then she has had a horrible crush on him. The kind at which you swoon when you hear that persons' name.
The only problem was that Elizabeth doesn't have a chance. Its not like shes terribley ugly but to her Billie is just too cool for her, plus that he had a girlfriend.. (which was on the rocks) But Billie had only been there a couple of months and already he was popular with the 'punks' of the school. Liz didn't exactly hang out with the 'punks' of the school. She had a group of her own.
But he had already become sort of their 'leader'. Everyone knew who he was. He had brown/blonde hair that was sort of in a fohawk kind of 'do. He had black gages in his ears and about 5'6 or 5'9 at height. And he had these green eyes that Liz absoulty loved.
Although she hasn't had an actual conversation with Billie Joe, they always locked gazes in the halls. She wanted him, she really wanted to be with him, but again she couldn't do much with his girlfriend in the way.
*RING RING*
"YESSSSSS" was all you heard down the halls of Liz's High School. After all it was Spring Break. Papers flew from every direction and kids scremed to get out of that prison.
Elizabeth,Anna, and Jordan all walked out last of their class while everyone around them shouted in joy.
Jordan was yet another friend of Liz's. She was a pretty girl, tall and very pretty. Dirty blonde hair and hazle/green eyes.
"So Liz, what are you doing tonight?"
"Well I don't know Anna, maybe go to a concert?"
Anna laughed and said,
"Thats what I thought. What about you Jordan, are you going?"
Jordan looked over at Anna and smiled,
"Well of COURSE I'm going. DUH!"
Tonight Liz,Anna,Jordan,Amber and Victoria were going to a coffee shop to hear a local band called, Here on Planet Earth. Liz and Anna knew some of the guys in the band and Anna's boyfriend, Trevor had gave them a flyer to check them out.
So after school Anna and Liz were going over to Liz's house to get ready for the concert and they were going to meet the rest of the people at the coffee shop.
*At Liz's House*
Elizabeth was standing in front of her mirror, finishing her make up when she asked Anna,
"So, uh, Anna, do you think Billie will be there tonight?"
Anna looked up from the magazine she was reading and said,
"Hmm yeah he should be there, he knows all the members in the band. But Liz, guess who asked me if you were going?"
"Uh, who would that be?"
"Jack"
Elizabeth just looked at her and said,
"Jack?"
"Yeah, he actually came up to me and asked if we were going to the concert tonight and then he asked if you were going."
Liz shruged and said,
"Oh now he cares... what should I do?"
"Fuck him", said Anna in a quick responce. "Hes not worth caring about. But if he does talk to you, its the perfect chance to tell him how you feel."
Liz thought about it and Anna was right, fuck him, if he wants to talk he'll get a mouth full from me.
Finally Anna and Elizabeth were done getting ready and the both hopped in Liz's 92' camaro and drove down to the coffee shop.
They got out of the car and there Billie Joe stood. In the moonlight smoking a cigrette and looking very pist. But when Liz and Anna got out of the car he smiled and said,
"Hey Elizabeth, you look great tonight"
