The teenies from hell and the band that saved the day!, chapter 3
____
"Hey, see, we're almost there!" Krissy cried, pointing at the concert hall.
"Hell yes!" Racha cried.
"Yay!" Jesse added in.
"Oh my goddddd!" Demi said.
The building was huge. It was made of white bricks, and had the words 'CONCERT HALL OF ONTARIO' Written across it. (Okay shut the hell up! I had no other words to say okay?) Krissy basically hopped out of her seat. Before the car even stopped, she, Racha and Jesse, were out of the car and speeding towards the ticket line.
"Hey slow down, spazz!" Tre cried, hopping out. Mike waited for the teenies from hell and Billie to get out.
"K, come on, Adie and Sarah are waiting." Billie said happily. His wife would relieve him from the pressure of the staring.
"Who are Adie and Sarah?" A confused Asha asked.
"Billie's wife is Adie, and they make a great couple, as do Mike and Sarah. Sarah is Mike's girlfriend." Racha pointed out.
Billie blushed and opened the front door. The six teenagers walked inside. Tre, Mike, and Billie followed. They came to a room that said 'GREEN DAY' Temporarily while they were playing there. The small group were welcomed in by Adie and Sarah. Mike grabbed Sarah's hand, and Billie and Adie gave each other a quick kiss.
"Holy shit, nice guitar!" Krissy cried, running over to the guitar. "It's perfect... mine's really old but this... " She gazed in awe. "Can we play for you guys?"
"Yah, why don't the two bands play for you Adie, maybe you'll get that new band you've been looking for!" Mike said.
Adie nodded.
"Yah, maybe. Okay, who first?"
So Krissy held the guitar high, Racha grabbed the drumsticks and took a seat, and Jesse fired up the bass.
"Okay, we are High-Strung." Krissy announced. "First, 409 in your coffee maker."
They began to play, and Adie raised her eyebrows in impressment. Before they could finish, she clapped her hands really loudly.
"You guys would be perfect! You are really good, do you write your own songs?" She asked. "Because if you have over ten songs, we might be able to fit you in! All you have to do is impress my manager!"
Racha cried out.
"Holy shit, really?" Jesse asked.
"Yah!"
"Now can we play?" Samantha asked, putting her hands on her hips.
"Er- yeh." Krissy said, passing her the guitar.
They all braced themselves for something awful, but they were actually good. They didn't know any good songs, but the songs they played were great. The instruments were perfectly played, just as the band before. But Samantha's voice sounded kind of squeaky. When they finished, they smiled widely. However, Adie frowned.
"Oh shit, your both really good bands... but... I can only choose one!" She said. Sarah started to laugh.
"I have an idea, at the end of the concert, we can hold a battle of the bands. Then the crowd can decide who wins!" She said, winking at Mike, as if to say "ENCOURAGE THE IDEA!"
"Hell yes!" Billie cried. "This will be so fun!"
"In front of all those people?" Racha asked, shifting nervously.
"You'll do fine!" Tre said, putting his arms around her, causing her to blush. His arm swung over her shoulder and he started to laugh.
"Uh... can I have my neck back please?"
"Yah huh."
The five adults and the six teenagers sat down, all talking happily about the battle of the bands that would take place that night. It would be fierce, they knew, but Green Day fans had a keen sense of telling the pieces of crap from the works of art.
"You guys want something to drink?" Tre asked.
"Do you have pepsi?" Krissy asked.
"Yep." Tre tossed Racha, Krissy, and Jesse a pepsi, when they all said they wanted one.
"Coke?" Samantha asked.
"Yup." Mike said, throwing three at Asha, Demi and Samantha.
Tre, Mike, and Billie all got beers, and Adie and Sarah got Root beer, since they didn't feel exactly like beer at that moment. They started talking about school and eventually the conversation landed on kangaroos... the crossover was strange. Tre fell backwards off the couch, making everyone laugh. Soon Green Day had ten minutes to practice, and the talking had to stop. The concert started, and the six teenagers left through the V.I.P exit into the mosh pit.
That night would be very... strange... and fun... and dangerous. But it would be a night that every person at that concert would remember.
