When Will You Be Mine?, chapter 2
Hey! Ryan ran over to where Mark was standing with a smile on his face. The smile quickly faded. "He hit you again." said Ryan. "No I just you know skate boarding and all that shit. Bound to get hurt right?" Ryan looked at Marks face. How could he lie so easily to his best friend? "Ok"said Ryan. "I know what you mean." "Yea "said Mark. "So are we going to have band practice today?" Ryan asked. "Yea we probably should." "Ok see you at lunch then." Mark waved good bye and started walking to his first class. Ryan shook his head. Mark and him had started a band a few years back with these two other guys Deryk and Trevor called Maybe Tomorrow. They were pretty good, but they wouldn't be anywhere with out Mark. He could play any instrument bye ear. He made up for his academic talent with his musical talent. It wasn't like he never tried in school. Quite the contrary. He just could never understand any of it. Plus he always had the distraction of his home life. *RING* "Shit the bell!" Ryan ran to his first hour class.
Trevor tapped his pencil on his desk. History was his best subject but today he was to distracted by the new girl Karen. Trevor was a year older than most people in his class. He started school later because his parents didn't think he was ready. Trevor was good looking. Baby blue eyes, 6 feet, slender and muscular, dirty blonde hair, and southern charm to die for. He would be a catch except for he wasn't very popular. None of his friends were really. He didn't know why though. Mark Drake had black hair and big green eyes. He was in good shape but it always looked like you could brake him in half if you tried. Ryan looked alot like Mark except he dyed his his hair blonde and wore blue contacts. As for Deryk he was what you would call a goth. Black lipstick, clothes, and hair. He was Trevors best friend. "Trevor are you going to answer my question?" Mrs. Driver looked at Trevor with a stern face as he snapped back to reality. "Tevor would you come out of your little fantasy world and please join the class." Trevor shook his head yes and looked over at Karen laughing. Shit! Ruined his chance with that one.
