A loss, Then A Gain. (A Billie Joe story), chapter 1
9:00 AM. Victoria was lying in bed. She stared up at the ceiling. Her Green Day posters stared back at her. Then her cell phone rang. She smiled as she herd the "Longview" ring tone play. She reached her arm over to her nightstand and answered it.
"Hello?" she asked.
"Hey Vicky!" said Mike.
Victoria smiled. Mike could always cheer her up.
"Hey Mike." she replied. "What's up?"
"I was wondering if you could come by Tre's place today. We're all there, and Billie really needs us right now." said Mike
"Oh my god! What happened?" asked Victoria.
"Come to Tre's house, and I'll tell ya." said Mike.
"Ok, I'll be right over." said Victoria.
"Ok, bye." said Mike.
Victoria hung up her phone and got up. She pulled on a pair of jeans and a black Evanescence shirt. She ran outside and got her bike, and she peddled away as fast as she could to Tre's house.
*At Tre's House*
"Did you call Victoria yet?" asked Tre.
"Yeah, I did. She's on her way." replied Mike.
Tre sighed and flopped on the couch. He grabbed the remote and turned on the tv. "Family Guy" came on.
"I love this one!" yelled Tre.
"You say that everytime Family Guy comes on." said Mike.
Tre glared at Mike and gave him the middle finger. Mike shrugged and went outside to wait for Victoria. Victoria pulled up about 10 minutes later.
"Ok, what happened?" she asked, as she proped her bike up.
"It's between Billie and Adrienne...." Mike began.
Mike opened the door and they went inside.
"Did you tell her?" asked Tre, as Mike shut the door.
"I was in the process of it." said Mike.
"Ok, you were saying?" asked Victoria.
"A couple of nights ago, Billie and Adie got in a huge fight." said Mike.
"Billie has a scar to prove it! Adie cut him with a razor blade!" yelled Tre.
Victoria's eyes widened. Mike glared at Tre and countined.
"So they had the fight, then Adie cut Billie. Billie told her that he hated her. Then Adie said that she wanted a divorece. Billie didn't think she was serious, but she was. She went to court the next day, and they're seperated." said Mike.
Victoria gasped. She couldn't belive it.
"Adie has custody of Joey and Jakob. Billie sees them on the weekends. And Adie got the house, so Billie is currently living in Tre's spare bedroom." said Mike.
"So this is what you called me about." said Victoria.
Mike nodded. Tre countinued watching Family Guy.
"Billie hasn't spoken in days. He hasn't eaten anything, ether. I'm really worried about him, Victoria." said Mike.
Victoria looked at Mike. He had tears in his eyes. Victoria completely understood. Billie and Mike had been best friends since they were 10 years old.
"How about I go check on him?" asked Victoria.
Mike nodded. Victoria went upstairs. She herd someone crying. She walked into Billie's room.
Billie was sitting on his bed, tears were running down his face. Victoria sat down next to him.
"Hey Billie. Mike told me what happened. You ok?" asked Victoria.
Billie shook his head, as if to say "No."
"I'm really sorry about what happened." said Victoria.
All of a sudden, Billie started sobbing. He hugged Victoria. Victoria's face went red. She always had a crush on Billie, but she never expected him to hug her.
"I hate myself..." cried Billie.
Victoria hugged him.
"Everything's gonna be ok, Billie. It's gonna be ok." said Victoria.
Billie continued crying. Now Victoria felt bad, she had always wanted Billie and Adie to seperate so she could have a chance with Billie, but Victoria had no idea that Billie would be this upset.
"Hello?" she asked.
