A loss, Then A Gain. (A Billie Joe story), chapter 2
A couple of hours later, Victoria and Billie came downstairs. Victoria had finally got him to stop crying, and Billie was really hungry.
"Do we have any pizza?" he asked Tre.
"Look in the freezer." replied Tre.
Victoria went into the living room with Mike and Tre while Billie fixed himself some pizza.
"I knew he'd come out." said Tre.
Victoria sat down next to Mike. She winked at him. Mike understood.
Billie came in a few minutes later.
"Where's the pizza?" asked Tre.
"Oops. Did you want some?" asked Billie.
"YOU ATE A WHOLE FUCKING PIZZA!?" asked Tre.
Mike and Victoria fell in the floor, laughing. Tre glared at them, then stomped off to his room.
"I'll see you guys later. I've got to go meet Jenni." said Mike.
Mike grabbed his car keys and left.
"Who the hell's Jenni?" asked Billie.
"Mike's new girlfriend." said Victoria.
Billie nodded.
"Billie, could I talk to you, privately?" asked Victoria.
"Sure." said Billie.
They walked upstairs to Billie's room.
"So, what is it?" asked Billie.
Victoria sighed. She was going to tell Billie how she felt about him.
"Billie, you know, we've been friends for a while now..." Victoria began.
"Yeah?" asked Billie.
"I've kinda developed feelings for you..." said Victoria.
"What do you mean?" asked Billie.
"I love you Billie Joe." said Victoria.
Billie just looked at her for a moment.
"Victoria..." he began.
"I know, you don't feel that way..." said Victoria.
"But I do love you!" said Billie.
"You do?" asked Victoria.
Billie nodded. Then he kissed her on the lips.
Victoria felt her knees tremble. Billie loved her, he loved her! Victoria started to fall over. Billie caught her.
"Thanks." said Victoria.
They sat down on the bed.
"So how long have you liked me?" asked Billie.
"Since we met in 2004." said Victoria.

Billie smiled. He started to sing "She". Victoria joined in.
"Scream at me, until my ears bleed, I'm takin' heed just for you." they sang.
"So, what do you wanna do?" asked Victoria.
"Let's go tell Tre the good news." said Billie.
"Or, let's go freak Tre out." joked Victoria.
Billie smiled.
"Yeah. Let's." he said.
