A loss, Then A Gain. (A Billie Joe story), chapter 6
Victoria sighed.
"Great," she thought. "I'm going to be living in the same room as Green Day for the next three days!"
"Where do we sleep?" asked Tre.
"Crap! I hadn't thought of that." said Victoria.
"I know! When you're 'rents are sleepin', you should sneak out to Walmart!" said Tre.
"If I'm going to buy three sleeping bags, I will need help carrying them." said Victoria.
"I'll go." said Billie.
*That Night At Midnight*
Victoria and Billie quietly crept down the steps. They could hear Victoria's dad snoring.
"Your dad really snores really loud." said Billie.
Victoria nodded.
Finally, they got out of the house. Billie pulled the keys out of his pocket, and they ran accross the street, where's Tre car was parked. Billie started the engine and they drove to Walmart.
"Do you think that anybody will recognize me?" asked Billie.
"I don't think any teenies will be up at this hour." joked Victoria.
Billie smiled and turned on the radio.
"1985" by Bowling For Soup started to play. Victoria and Billie sung along.
About 20 minutes later, they reached Walmart.
"We only need 2 sleeping bags." said Billie, grinning at Victoria.
Victoria smiled. She got 2 sleeping bags of the shelf.
"Do we need anything else?" she asked Billie.
"We need coffee. Mike gets really weird when he doesn't have coffee." said Billie.
Victoria nodded and they got the coffee.
When they reached the checkout, the casher kept staring at Billie Joe.
When they started to leave, she asked: "Are you any realation to Billie Joe from Green Day?"
"Yeah, I'm him." said Billie.
The girl's eyes went wide.
"I love you Billie Joe!" she said.
Victoria and Billie got out of there as fast as they could.
"Teenies are up 24/7." said Billie.
"Yup." said Victoria.
Finally, they reached Victoria's house. They quietly walked up 4 flights of stairs to Victoria's room.
"You guys need an elevator..." panted Billie.
Victoria grinned.
Mike and Tre were waiting for them when Billie opened the door.
"Thanks. Goodnight." said Tre when he got his sleeping bag.
He crawled in and went to sleep.
Mike drank some coffee and went to sleep as well.
Victoria sat down on her bed, Billie was waiting for her.
Billie kissed her, then they laid down and went to sleep.
*3:00 AM*
Billie Joe sat up. He had tears in his eyes. He remembered his dream.
*Flashback of Billie's Dream*
"Adie!" yelled Billie. Adie was standing with Joey and Jakob, waiting for him. Billie reached her. He tried to hug her, but Adie shoved away. "You're too late, Billie." she said. Billie looked at Joey And Jakob. They glared at him. Then Billie looked up. He was shocked about what he saw. Adrienne was kissing Tre!
*End Flashback*
Billie started to cry. He looked at Victoria. She was lying next to him, sound asleep. Mike and Tre were in the floor, also sleeping.
"Who do I love?" Billie asked out loud.
Billie started to cry again. He loved Adie so much, and wanted her back. But then there was Victoria, who would stay with him through everything. She had even let him live at her house! Billie cried harder. He just couldn't decide.
Victoria herd Billie crying and woke up.
"Billie, what's wrong?" she asked.
"Victoria, you know that I love you..." Billie began.
"Yeah?" asked Victoria.
"We just can't be together. It's been a really short time since me and Adie seperated, and I need some time to get over her." said Billie.
"I understand." said Victoria.
Billie nodded and laid back down. He still had tears in his eyes.
*The next day*
Billie woke up, learning that he had cried himself to sleep.
Victoria was still asleep, while Mike and Tre were sitting in the floor, talking.
Billie stared up at the ceiling. Victoria had pinned up several Green Day posters there.
Billie sighed and sat in the floor with Mike and Tre.
"Did you get laid?" asked Tre.
"No." said Billie.
"Why?" asked Tre.
"Look, me and Victoria aren't together anymore, got it!?" said Billie, tears filling his eyes.
"Are you gonna cry?" asked Tre.
That was it for Billie. He started to cry.
"Tre! Mind your own business!" said Mike.
Billie went to sit in a corner of the room. He wanted to alone.
"What's his problem?" asked Tre.
"F.O.D. Tre!" said Victoria. who was now awake.
She sat in the floor next to Mike.
"I heard the whole thing last night." said Mike.
Victoria nodded. Then she got up and went downstairs.
"Why is everyone mad at me?" asked Tre.
"Tre, get used to it." said Mike.
Victoria came back upstairs a few minutes later.
"Guys! The 'rents are gone! You guys can leave!" she said.
