Welcome to This Odd Paradise, chapter 11
They all woke up the next morning and gathered around the smoldering embers that they called their fire. Everyone was looking very chipper and perky except Mike. He had bags under his eyes and looked like he was sleeping with his eyes open.
"So Mike, what's wrong, you look all pale and gaunt..." Billie said to his very best friend (besides Tre).
"Nothing, I'm fine... I'm just tired is all. I was up all night hav- uh...Thinking about how to get across the river...yeah, that's all I was doing...," He stuttered.
"In other words, Mike was playing with himself." Tre said very flatly.
"Oh shut up, I know I am having dating trouble, but not everyone is perfect you little shits." He said, and then he slowly fell to one side and off his log into a deep sleep.
"I'm hungry" Adie said as she was staring at Mike. So she got up and looked through the bag. She found a Snickers bar and some old, stale chips. "Looks like we are going to be fishing for our breakfast boys...and girl." Adie said as she held up the old food.
"Fish is good with me! I love sushi." Tre said to nobody in particular. So he ran to the riverside and was stripping all his clothes except for his boxers and attempted to dive in, but Billie grabbed his arm.
"Man are you that slow?" Billie asked Tre.
"I'm not slow, I want sushi!" Tre argued back.
"Well you are going to have to find another way to get it because if you dive in, that water will take you downstream and you will die drowning."
"Well that's a risk I'm willing to take, I want some fucking sushi!" He screamed and kicked. But Billie dragged him back to the fire and sat him on a log next to Rae.
"Hey Tre, if you died, you would never repeat last night ever again, you would be in hell." Rae told him. "Oh no, and then I would have to deal with Bush when he died! Thank god for Billie! Billie, I think I love you!" Tre yelled to Billie who looked scared and confused as Tre ran to him and jumped into his arms.
"Billie, would you hold me forever?" Tre whispered into Billie's ear when Billie caught him in his arms. Billie dropped him on his ass and went over to Adie.
"I'm sorry Tre, my ass and my heart belong to Adie." He said as he put his arms around Adrienne who smiled as he did so.
Tre got up and waddled over to Rae and kissed her. "I was only kidding babe, you are the only one for me," He told her between little kisses.
Mike got up and rubbed his head. "Where am I?" He asked stupidly.
"Mike, go to sleep again, it was fun without you," Tre said as he sat on Rae's lap. She protested this and struggled to get up.
"Tre! You're cutting off the circulation to my legs!! Noooo! I'm being crushed by an ass's fat ass!!" She screamed and Tre got up.
"Well, we really need to move on, I want to finish this stupid thing soon." Mike said to the group.
"Why don't we just send up a flare, you guys can stay at my rented house," Rae told them.
"Ha! I have a smart girlfriend!!!" Tre raved as he began to dance for no reason. He was doing the Electric Slide.
"Woogie woogie woogie!!" He sung horribly and spun his fists an a circular motion and shook his ass.
"Good idea Rae, I'll go find the flares." Mike said.
