Let Me Kiss You One More Time, chapter 11
"Mikey..." A woman softly whispered.
"Mike," She said once again annoyed. She began to shove him until he awoke.
"Go away," Mike said shoving his face into the pillow.
"No, get up," She sighed crossing her arms.
"Make me," Mike mumbled into the pillow.
"Your kidding me? Make you?!" She said annoyed rolling her eyes.
"Yea, Make me," Mike said grinning looking over at her.
"Fine," She said thinking of what to do. It seemed like forever for her to think of something. She grinned just like mike and leaned in for a kiss. Mike, surprised, sunk in and placed him hand behind her head kissing deeper.
"Mike, get up!" Brittney said tapping his cheeks.
"I'm up, I'm up," Mike said sitting up. Brittney raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms.
"What?" Mike said innocently.
"You kept shouting out Rachel," Brittney said a bit hurt.
"Oh, that's my dead dog," Mike said trying to cover up.
"Ok," She said and walked downstairs. Mike followed her downstairs and sat down on the dinning chairs.
While me at home sitting on the couch starring at the phone, like some murderer will call me. I tucked my knees up under my chin and wrapped my arms around my legs. I kept starring whether or not I should phone mike.
"Mom?" Ayleen said coming through the door and closing it after her. She poked her head into the living room and saw me on the couch.
"If you stare long enough, maybe the phone will do a trick," Ayleen joked sitting beside me.
"Very funny," I mumbled. She raised an eyebrow and studied my face.
"Mike?" She said plainly.
"Huh?" I said lifting my head from my knees.
"It's mike that's bothering you. Phone him," She said handing me the phone. I shook my head and looked away. She pushed the phone into my face. I sighed grabbed the phone and dialled his number. I glared at Ayleen when I put the phone to my ear.
Riiiing Riiiing.
"Hello?" Brittney answered picking up the phone.
"I-" I don't know what i was trying to say. I was confused, and nervous. I couldn't say anything at all.
"Are you that teenager who phoned before?" Brittney asked annoyed and pissed.
I slammed the phone down hurt. He was taken. He's past me. He's over me. So I should be over him. Alright, that's easy. I sat there with Ayleen in deep thought.
"She could be his sister," she said guessing. I nodded and went to take a bath.
"Who was that?" Mike asked biting into a piece of toast.
"It was that Teenager again," Brittney sighed fixing herself some toast.
"If he or she calls again, let me answer it again ok?" Mike said smiling. Brittney nodded coming over to him and sitting on his lap and giving him a tender kiss on the lips.
"Ok," She whispered with a melting smile and went upstairs.

I shoved my hand into my jacket pockets and continued walking to ayleen's school. Into the principles office once again. I sniggered at the thought. Ayleen was just like me and the guys. I made my way into the school and into the principles office. I sat down in one of the chairs with ayleen beside me and the principle in front of us.
"I've glad you come to join us Mrs.Tren-" He said nastily.
"Rachel," I snapped at him like a teenager.
"Right, Anyways, today Ayleen here has been skipping classes," he explained linking his fingers together and closing his eyes.
"So?" I said bored out of my mind.
"So, she's been skipping for three weeks now," He said continuing, "Which means she's getting suspended,"
"What? Nooo, I don't want her around the house bugging me all day," I moaned sinking into my chair like a little kid. Ayleen stifled a laugh and punched me lightly. The principle, Greg? Rolled his eyes at us and escorted us out the door.
"Yes, im out of this shithole," Ayleen cheered slinging the backpack around her.
"Nooo, your coming home," I joked laughing.
"Very funny," She said rolling her eyes like me earlier.
"So where did you go when you were skipping school?" I asked her kicking at the ground.
"Err...nowhere," she said lying through her teeth.
"Oh really?" I said raising an eyebrow knowing she was lying. She sighed and looked at me.
"No, I've been seeing Billie and Adrienne," She said looking down afraid that I'll snap.
"Oh," Was all I said. I don't know why she would want to go there. Maybe to say hello? We walked back to the house in silence.

Ayleen sprinted across the neighbours' lawn to the next house, which was huge. She knocked on the door as if she was in a hurry. The door was greeted by a woman with black hair and blonde dreads here and there. She smiled warmly and let ayleen in.
"Hey Ayleen, want something to drink?" Adrienne asked closing the door after her.
"No thanks. I came to talk with you and Billie, if you don't mind," Ayleen said taking off her shoes and jacket.
"Yea sure," Adrienne said curiously and called Billie down. Fast foot steps came racing down the stairs and skidding on the wooden floor.
"You called?" He said rubbing his butt.
"Yeah, Ayleen wants to talk to us," Adrienne said smiling.
"Ok," Billie said raising a eyebrow. They all sat the round table and started to talk.
"Okay well, it's about Mike and mom," Ayleen sighed crossing her legs underneath.
Billie and Adie looked at each other then at Ayleen.
"Mom still likes Mike, a lot, and I don't know if Mike does," Ayleen hesitated.
"Well I know Mike one day wouldn't stop talking about Rachel at the studio," Billie spoke up sitting straight.
"Really?" Ayleen said excited.
"Yea he said how much he missed her and all that chit-chat," Billie answered crossing his arms over his chest.
Adrienne got up and got some drinks coming back and placing them on the table. They continued to talk about life, music, clothes, just talk. Ayleen looked down at her clock. 3:05.
"Yikes, I better go," Ayleen said getting out of the chair.
"Bye," Adrienne said hugging her.
"Seeya kiddo," Billie said smiling and waving at Ayleen went out the door and left.

Mike sat starring blankly at the TV, at five in the morning. He just couldn't sleep. Something was bugging him, and it was bugging him bad. Brittney awoke from the buzzing noise of the TV. She rubbed her eyes, grabbing a robe on her way downstairs and slipping it on. She saw a glow from the living room and pondered over there.
"Mike," she said, tired. Mike looked up exhausted. Brittney came over and sat down beside him curling up and resting her head on his shoulder.
"Why are you up?" She asked yawning.
"I couldn't sleep," Mike said, resting his head on hers.
"Oh," She said, and with that one word, she fell asleep. Mike stayed awake though. He shut off the TV, carried Brittney upstairs into their room and tucked her in with him right beside her resting his head on her chin.
"Good-night Brittney," He sighed falling asleep.
Mornings were definitely not Mike's best friend. As annoyed as he was, he still got up. I guess for the sake of coffee. The smell of the coffee that was being made downstairs drifted into mikes/brits room making him walk towards it, watching Brittney pour some coffee into two mugs.
"I love you," Mike sighed dreamily. Brittney chuckled and placed the coffee in front of him.
"Who? The coffee or me?" She laughed softly, leaning against the counter and propping her elbows onto the counter.
"Mmm, the coffee," Mike grinned sipping it.
Brittney rolled her eyes and walked away smiling.

"Mom," Ayleen said jumping on my bed. "Mom, really get up!"
"No," I swatted my hand away.
"Ugh you're just like Tre when i was little," Ayleen mumbled jumping off the bed and going into her room.
"Like I haven't heard that before," I sighed stretching and getting myself out of bed.
"MOM! There's something in the closet!" Ayleen shrieked running to me out of her room shaking.
"Is it a boogie man?" I joked softly laughing and hugging ayleen.
"No," Ayleen frowned, "It's something fuzzy and it hissed at me," She finished shaking again. I tilted my head and raised an eyebrow in confusion. Then I mouthed, 'What the fuck?'
We both made our way into her room. Ayleen stayed on the bed curled up while i stepped closer and closer into the closet peering in. Nothing, just a lot of clothes.
"I don't see anything ayleen," I sighed turning around and facing her.
"But, there was something in there, I swear," Ayleen said waving her arms around. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. Suddenly i felt something fuzzy and cuddly rub against my leg and purr. I looked down and saw a brown kitten rubbing against my leg. I softly picked it up and held it in a baby position.
"This thing?" I asked holding it in front of her. She blushed and nodded, grabbing the kitten and softly stroking it.
"Err, can we keep it?" Ayleen asked smiling, "Please, please, please mom?"
I sighed, I knew I was gonna have to give up and i wasn't exactly in the mood for fighting.
"Fine," I said, walking out of the room.
I turned around fast before I completely left her room and said, "It's you're responsibility, not mine." After what I said I left going downstairs.

I had recently got a phone call from Tre. He asked me to come to the Coastca Bar at 2:00PM today. I looked over at the clock, 1:45PM. Ah crap. I hurried up stairs running into my room, and picking out some clothes to wear. Jeans, t-shirt, hoodie. I quickly brushed my hair and brushed a quick layer of black eye shadow on both eyes. I ran downstairs getting my shoes on and grabbing my car keys.
"I'm going out to see uncle Tre!" I yelled to ayleen whom was upstairs and got into the car.
"Mike," She said once again annoyed. She began to shove him until he awoke.
