Shock Horror, chapter 4
Outside Billie's House
The chauffeur opened the door, Beth got out then froze, she looked exactly like a statue. I hesitated to get out after her, but eventually did, I could see why she'd froze, his house was amazing and even more amazing he was standing in front of Beth, waving a hand in front of her face.
"Erm Beth, you know it's like time to come back to the real world." I nudged her, in the side all she did was blink. "Erm seriously Beth." I jumped on her this time, making us crash to the ground, this got her back.
"Why the fuck am I on the floor?" She asked utter confusion across her face and her voice the confusion we loved most about her.
"I jumped on ya. Ya froze." I told her simply, as we were pulled up by Billie who was as confused as Beth. Which believe me is hard.
Beth's *pov*
"Thanks." I mumbled to Billie, I was in complete shock, so much shock but I was confused, which annoyed me as I really didn't know how I ended up on the floor.
"No problem, so you must be the Lead singer, Lead guitarist and Bassist?" Billie half asked.
"Yeh that's us." I replied.
"So which one's which?" He asked the confusing draining from his face.
"Well I'm the Singer and Guitarist and Beth's the Bassist." Vikki cleared up, with a shrug as if it no big deal who was who.
"Cool so who wrote the songs you performed. You?" He asked Vikki thinking it obvious that the Lead singer would write it.
Vikki shook her head. "Didn't write one Beth wrote them all." She admitted glancing at me.
"They were fucking amazing." Billie grinned.
My cheeks flushed red. The embarrassment taking over my body, I had never expected someone like him to like the actual lyrics, just the tune and way they were sung. Well I expected him to like some of them, but all of them never.
"Well I wouldn't expect you to have brought instruments so, shopping to buy them it is." Billie grinned, handing us $2000 each.
"Thanks." We nervously mumbled together, both shaking, our hands a blur as he forced the money into our hands.
Guitar/Bass shop.
We entered; I was still trembling with fear, not able to believe any of it. I sort of wanted to believe it, but in another way I didn't. Me and Vikki headed into opposite directions of the shop, the instruments being separated and stuff, Billie being a guitarist went with Vikki leaving me alone. In the vast world of the Bass's. After about ten minutes I spotted one, it had a long thin maple neck and was black. It glimmered in the sun, calling out to me to buy it. How could I not it was just the sort of thing for the band's image, we wanted.
Outside the shop.
I side as I leant against the wall outside the shop waiting for Vikki and Billie I'd got bored, so I'd gone off and bought some earrings. They were tiny black spider studs, with little red gems dotted along their backs. I tossed them in the air, catching them just. As Vikki and Billie emerged from the shop, both carrying a guitar each. They gave me a quick smile, then Billie glanced at the earrings I was holding.
"Wow nice." Vikki grinned, following Billie's gaze.
Billie seemed less than happy for some reason unknown to me. "Were the hell did ya get those?" He asked.
"Well let's see the moon." I mumbled sarcastically, while rolling my eyes freakishly, so only the whites of my eyes could be seen for a matter of moments.
"You can not seriously consider wearing them. Can you?" He asked.
"Yeh. You got a problem with it?" I asked, anger rising in my voice, making it shake slightly.
"God your demented, they are seriously nasty." He commented, glancing at them in disgust.
"Fuck off." I screamed at him, and then before I could stop myself or anyone could stop me.
BANG
I slapped him, a small red hand mark appeared across the side of his face, as I ran off scared he may hurt me or slap me back.
