Rachina, Green Day And I, chapter 1
“Hurry up ray!!! We’re going to be late!!!� I said.
�Banana, I don’t even understand why we hav to go to the mall, you went shopping two days ago and I don’t need anything.� Rachel had always hated shopping and anything to do with going out.
“I told you already Ray Ray, were going to see Green Day! They’re going to be there to sign copies of there new album and preforming something. Weren’t u listening to me?�
�Of course I wasn’t…I heard the words ‘Green Day’ and instantly lost interest. How can you like them? They suck!�
�OMG Rachel, how can say that??? They are the best band in the world!!!� I knew Rachel would give up, she cant stand being mad at me.
Anyways, I’ll tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Kym, and im 17. I life with Rachels family cuz both my parent died in a car crash. Yea, sad, I know. Rachel is my best friend and has been since I was very little…I still am lol. My friends call me ‘banana’ or ‘sexi banana’ cuz when I was in prep I called the college captain a sexi banana.
Even since the age of 6, I’ve liked Green Day music. I know this because my ‘family’ had told me over and over again. By the age of 11, I was the most devoted Green Day fan my age. I had my bedroom completely full of Green Day posters, and albums. Eventually, I developed a crush on Billie Joe and stuck pictures of him on my bedroom door.

“Oh my god, I cant believe she managed to drag me to YET ANOTHER Green Day related boredom fest.� I thought to myself. “OK, I might not like there music very much, but I DID think Tre was pretty hot, and a good drummer. Kym would NEVER find that out cuz I was embarrassed about it! I mean, she loved Green Day and all, but she would probably make fun of me cuz I teased her about Billie Joe! And, she thought I hated Green Day.�
“Omg Rachina!!!! Here they come!!!� Kym screamed.
“Kym, calm down! Its OH KAY. Its not really that big a deal!� oh shit, shes getting hypo, I know wat this means, shes going to start screaming silently to herself and jump up and down over and over again, I know her to well�
Kym didnt need to jump up and down, or scream silently, she wasn’t even getting hyper like usual!!!
“Uh Kym? Why aren’t you acting normal, you know…like jumping and screaming and hyper? Is something wrong…?�
“No! its just, i’d look crazy if I did that!�
Weird, she has no problem doing that at her party when I gave her 2 Green Day albums and a poster she didn’t have! Oh well, this was good, I’m safe from embarrassment. Anyway, someone on the stage they had set up said that Green Day had arrived! Even I was getting excited! I couldn’t wait to see Tre! He was sooooooooo hot! Eventually, it was our turn to get our stuff signed, well, Kyms stuff. She brought all her albums, and one of her posters. She might be crazy, but that’s why I luv her. Besides, im used to her being all crazy and shit. Im like the black sheep and shes the rainbow, multicoloured breakdancing one. =) lol. Basically, im the different one, in a depressed, quiet sort of way, and she was the out there, different one, in a rebellious way.
Oh god! Tre looked hotter than ever! I could almost feel myself melting on the spot.
“Hi� Mike said.
“Wow! That’s a lot of stuff to be signed! Well, we better get started!� Tre said.
“So, wat do you want us to write?� Billie Joe said.
“Anything! Just as long as you sign it as well. And make sure my name is on there!!! Its Kym, with a ‘y’.� Kym quickly said. I could just tell how excited she was! She was blushing and everything!
