My Teenie Sister Is Going Out With The Guy I Like? Why Does He Like HER?!, chapter 1
Hi I'm Kelly. I'm your ordinary outcast teenager. I have very few friends and I avoid fashions. Most people label me "Punk" But I don't believe in labels. Except for one. "Teenie." I don't even use the word "Poser" Instead I say fake. And I have an older sister by 9 months that's the leader of her "Underbelly" her "Teenie." underbelly.
This is where the story begins my friends.
I woke up at the sound of my alarm and groaned. Another day of the jail cell. Also known as School. I just grabbed whatever clothes and applied some eye make up and was out the door 15 minutes later. Unlike my sister Laura. She got up really early to make her hair and make up perfect. She was perfect in everyway. Great grades, Teachers loved her, at school on time, Popular, Beautiful and my parents loved her. Then there was the other sister. Kelly. Ugly, Reject, Rebel, Low grades, Always late for everything and my parents...They don't love me. Everyone always compares me to Laura. I'm so sick of it!
I ran into my class. I was already 5 minutes late. I snuck into the back next to my friends Emily and Rex. They were also social outcasts. Rex was "Emo." as everyone calls him and Emily was...Just a very hyper weird person. Don't get me wrong I my friends and I'm glad I'm not popular. I just hate Laura. And how everyone compares us.
Then came the announcement that would change my life.
I wasn't paying attention just writing some song lyrics when over the announcer there was a call to the office for Laura and me. I was thankful that I didn't have to put up with more of that teacher's droning on and on and packed up my books and left.
I was walking down the corridor and I saw my sister. I walked next to her.
"Ew I can't be seen with you. You FREAK!" She screeched.
"Meh too bad. I'm not doing what you say" I grinned wickedly.
"URGH!" She stomped in defeat. Heh heh.
We arrived at the office and saw my mother and father. No emotion on their faces.
"Is everything like alright?" Laura asked mum.
"Yes everything is fine sweetie. We'll explain it all at home" Mum said and we all went into the car all silent.
We arrived home very curious on what was going on. We sat down on the lounge.
"I don't know how to put this" Dad said.
"Okay kids...You see were moving to California" Dad said.
I was happy and sad at the same time. New beginning in the saga of Kelly. But sad. Poor Rex and Emily. I'd miss them.
"LIKE WHAT!!! YOU CAN'T LIKE DO THIS! WHAT ABOUT MY LIKE FRIENDS!" Laura screeched.
"Honey you'll make new friends" Mum said quickly.
"Hopefully friends that don't overuse the word like" I mumbled.
"KELLY DONT MAKE FUN OF YOUR SISTER!" Mum shouted.
"Ok" I mumbled not wanting to make a scene.
If I made a scene I'd be punished I didn't want that.
"What about my friends?" I asked.
"You'll get over it" mum said coldly.
See what I mean? They don't love me.
So the next days at school were very sad. I told the news to Rex and Emily straight away and they were devastated. But so was I. Laura was crying and hugging her gang all day long. I smirked. Without Laura they're going to crash and burn. Eventually they'll fight over who's the next leader which will cause a break up of the group and it'll split into two groups. But then they'll form back into one and a new leader will come. Trust me it's happened before. That's how Laura became their leader.
It was finally the dreaded day. I walked into school for the very last time of my life. I'm out of this hole.
"Wow last time here aye?" Emily said as we sat in English at the back.
"Yep. No more riots. Bet the teachers are pleased" I smirked.
"Yeah but they'll miss Laura" Rex laughed.
"Oh true..." I replied.
That lesson seemed like it lasted 5 seconds. So did all lessons. Before I knew it the day was over. "
2 hours..." I said quietly to myself.
Rex and Emily came over. We had a video game contest while everything was being moved. Then the TV and video game console got moved and we spent our last half an hour together for a long time talking.
"Don't worry I'll earn some money buy a car and come here for the summer" I said.
"Promise?" Emily and Rex asked.
"Promise" I smiled.
"Laura, Kelly! Time to go!" Mum said and Laura was crying and hugging her gang. I gave one last hug to Emily and Rex
Then we were speeding down the highway. Our destination was California on the other side of the highway. Stuck in the car with 3 people I hated with only an Ipod for entertainment wont these be an interesting couple of days.
