She's my Fucking Daughter! I Have to See Her!, chapter 12
*Nobody's POV*
I slammed down the phone. He called. Why was he doing this to me? I know he's not my dad. He can't be. He just can't.
I slid down onto the floor at the foot of the desk. Isaac sat behind it, spinning around in the chair. He was bored of waiting. So was I.
I started thinking of a plan that would make both of us okay. After a few minutes, one came to me. "I got it!"I said getting up.
"What?"
"A way to let me go and you be okay."
"Lay it on me."
"Well, I've gotta warn you, there are some risks."
"Babe, 'risk' is my middle name."
I smiled.
*Billie's POV*
I held Lizz in my arms as she cried into my shoulder.
"Oh my God, Billie! My baby's gonna die!
"No she won't. She'll be okay."
"No she's not! She's not, she's not, she's not!"
"Shhh... It'll be fine."
I thought back to 1985 when we first met...
*Billie's flashback*
*July 10, 1985*
A thirteen-year-old Billie Joe Armstrong was setting up his amp before his first big concert. He looked at the drumset and read "Sweet Children" across the bass drum. He smiled. He was so excited! He couldn't believe that they had made it all the way to Louisiana!
Meanwhile, a thirteen-year-old Elizabeth Howards was just as excited. It was her first big concert, too. Sweet Children was her favorite band. She liked Billie. She thought he was cute. She wished that he would notice her...
Billie was backstage getting ready. Mike and Al stood in the background, fighting with mops. Billie smiled and rolled his eyes. They were so stupid...
Elizabeth bought a shirt that said "Sweet Children" and put it on over what she was wearing. "Lizz!"her friend, Polly had beckoned her. She ran to her friend and they giggled as they walked to the front of the stage. Not alot of people were there yet. But they would be.
Billie peaked out behind the curtain and looked at the sky. It was a perfect day for an outdoor concert. The sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. He looked down. There were two girls giggling in the grass. One was cute. She had the biggest brown eyes that he had ever seen.
Elizabeth giggled with her friend. She looked up. Billie was looking right at her! She smiled and waved at him. Realizing that she had seen him, he ducked back behind the curtain. Elizabeth giggled even more.
Billie's heart raced as he hid behind the curtain. She had seen him! He looked down as his face turned red. "Whoa,"Mike said walking over to him,"What's wrong with you?"
"Nothing."
"Why is your face red?"
"Uhhh... It's hot out here."
"I don't think so."
He lifted the curtain. Billie's face got redder.
"Mike! Don't!"
"Oooh! I see! Girls!"
"Damn you..."
Elizabeth and Polly waited patiently for the show to start. They waited a good half-hour before it did. They screamed like crazy as Billie walked onstage. He winked at Elizabeth. She blushed and smiled.
Billie walked backstage when the show was over, exhausted and tired with sweat running down his face. Okay, so maybe it wasn't a perfect day for an outdoor concert. Summer in Louisiana? Not good. Al walked in. "That was awesome"he said, tapping on the wall with his drumsticks. Mike ducked under the curtain. "Those girls are pretty cute,"he said, messing with Billie's hair,"I don't blame ya." Billie glared at him and straightened his hair.
"I.. can't.. believe.. Billie-freaking-Joe Armstrong.. winked..at.. you!"Polly yelled, jumping up and down. Elizabeth laughed.
"Chill, Poll."
"I.. can't!"
Elizabeth tried her best to keep her friend down while laughing. It wouldn't work. The camera around Polly's neck swung like crazy.
Billie put his guitar in his gig bag and walked out the side curtain onto the grass. The sun beat down on him. Okay, he thought to himself,I officially hate Louisiana during the summer. He spotted the two girls. They were giggling and the brown-eyed on was trying to keep the spastic one from jumping. He smiled. Okay, he thought,I'm gonna take my chances...
Polly finally calmed down and Elizabeth smiled. "This was awesome, Lizz,"she said. Elizabeth ran a hand through her thick, blonde hair and nodded. Someone put an arm around her shoulder, making her jump. She looked at who it was. Her heart lept. Billie. "So,"he said,"Your name's Lizz."
"Yep."
"Nice name."
"Thanks. Yours isn't that bad either."
"Eh, I think it makes me sound like a hillbilly."
She giggled. Billie's heart lept. He was funny! He wanted to make her laugh more, but, he couldn't think of anything to say.
Elizabeth looked into his deep, green eyes and got caught in them. "How's about a picture?!" Polly popped up, ruining the moment. "Oh, sure," Billie said,"Of-of course." They posed, Billie grabbed Elizabeth's hand. She blushed. The picture snapped and the picture slid out. Polly shook it. "There,"she said, and handed it to Elizabeth, "You two are pretty cute." Elizabeth blushed as she and Billie looked at the picture.
Billie built up the courage. He took a deep breath and hoped she would say "yes."
"Lizz?"
"Yeah, Billie?"
"W-will you go out with me?"
"Of course."
*End of Flashback*
I smiled as tears of joy ran down my face. I'll remember that moment forever. Lizz was my first girlfriend. How can I forget it?
