One Light, One Mind, chapter 1
"I love you so much,"Tre whispered into Steph's ear as they leaned back on the top of the Ferris Wheel Car. They sat close to each other, cuddling into one another, Steph holding Tre's hand with both her's. She dropped the big puffy stuffed animal Tre had won her and leaned in and pecked Tre on the lips. Tre took it further though, thinking it was more than it was, but Steph pulled away. Her brother was just in the car in front of her, and he had never really liked the fact one of his best friends was dating his sister.
The two, holding hands, got off the ride and walked til they came and saw Billie Joe and Mike getting off at the other exit. Billie Joe was so jealous of Tre because he had the girl he always dreamed of having, Steph.
"So you guys wanna go back to our place?"Steph asked."You guys can crash since its getting late."
"I guess so"Tre said grinning at Steph.She didn't want to know what he was thinking but just gave a flirting smile back.*What was she doing?*she thought.
"Ya I guess, me too."Billie Joe said."I don't have any where else to go since my mom's gone with her stupid boyfriend and THEY have the keys."
"Cool" Mike said trying to sound enthusiastic. The group went home and stayed up for a while longer, Tre Holding Steph in his arms the whole time.
"Hey guys, wanna play truth or dare?"Steph asked."I don't know."Billie Joe replied.
"Oh, come on Billie Joe, it'll be fun. Trust me."Tre said trying to get Billie Joe into playing.
"Alright then."he finally gave in.
"I'm in, I guess," Mike said wanting to feel included.
"Alright, Billie, truth or dare?" Steph asked.
"Dare,"he answered in pure confidence.
"I dare you, to, uhh, let's see, go outside in the nude and yell 'I love you'."Steph dared.
"Uhh, seriously, come on, give me something good."
"Oh, you don't like that, well, let's get something better, how about, uhh. I know! Billie Joe Armstrong I dare you to ask the girl out that you have a major secret crush on! HA! Now that's A good one!!!!"Steph said proudly.
Billie Joe just gulped and . .
