Ha Ha! You're Dead!!, chapter 3

The suicidal teenager tried to reach for the bottle of pills in the medicine cabinet but was being pulled away by her adopted brother.

"Aveerla," Miyavi yelled out. "please don't!"

"I won't do it if he goes," she yelled back. "that son of a bitch has destroyed my entire life and I can't take it anymore!"

"But suicide isn't the answer," he tried to change her mind. "you will just be giving up, and then he'll win."

"So what? No one cares for me," she denied. "if you really did care for me, you would get rid of him this instant!"

"For good?" the Japanese kid questioned her. "You know I can't do that... but I'll give it a go."

He didn't want to lose her. He too hated him, but he was nice to him. If he weren't so mean to Aveerla, then he'd have second thoughts about him.

Miyavi walked into the living room and was face to face with the son of a bitch.

"Uh, dad?" he asked him nicely. "can you please stop being so mean right now? I can't stand the yelling."

"Alright son," Jack said. "For you. Let's get you a frosty chocolate milkshake."

Aveerla had her ear tuned into what the two males were saying.

"Noo," she whispered to herself. "you were meant to get rid of him! But now it's my chance to escape."

She snuck out of the bathroom and went to the front hall. There she was greeted with her mother who was hella scared about her.

"Aveerla," Leah said. "are you going somewhere?"

"Yes I am," she replied truthfully. "I'm trying to escape from dad while I've got the chance."

"Okay then," the 35 year old feminine said as she picked up her purse form the near by table and pulled a stash of money out "take this with you. Be back at around midnight at the front fence and I will let you know if it's safe to come back in."

"Thanks mom," the teenager replied as she hugged her mother "you won't regret this."

Aveerla went outside and ran down the driveway to the front fence. She looked back and saw her mother standing at the window. She waved at her and walked off. She went to the intersection at the end of the street and turned back and saw the two flags in the front yard, fluttering from the afternoon wind.

"It feels good to be out of there," she whispered to herself. "but where should I hang out while I'm out here alone?"
