Mariah's Secret, chapter 2
* next day *
Mariah hated fridays. All the preps talking about their plans with their boyfriends. It made Mariah sick.
Mariah sat in art with all the preps watching her. wheres Billie? Just then Billie walked in with two guys I hadn't seen before.
" Mariah, this is Mike," Billie said pointing to a tall blonde haired guy.
"I'M TRE!" shouted the shorter one.
"I'm Mariah," said Mariah with a shy tone. The guys sat down and watched Mariah as she drew a picture of a raven. "Wow, your good," said Mike.
"Thanks." Mariah looked down and when she looked up Billie's green eyes were looking right into Mariahs grey one's. "What?" Mariah hated people staring at her. "Nothing!" Billie looked away.
*later at lunch*
"Hey Mariah!" Tre shouted as the three guys ran up to the table she was sitting at. "TRE SHUT UP!" shouted Billie. "Mariah, Billie likes you!" Mariah looked at Billie, he started to blush. Mariah got up and started to walk away. Billie ran up to her and grabbed her arm.
"Mariah, whats wrong?" Mariah let out a small laugh. "Whats so funny?" asked Billie. Mariah turned around and kissed Billie. She pulled away and looked at him. He smiled, then he kissed her back. Out of nowhere a prep walked up and shouted, "Don't kiss her, she'll kill you liked she killed her family. Mariah's eyes filled with tears. She ran off.
Billie looked at the prep in disgust, then ran off to catch up with Mariah. Not knowing someone was following her, Mariah ran off into an alley. Near the back of the alley there was a door with a big pit bull chained beside it. The dog let out a spine tingling bark, then as Mariah neared it the dog completely changed personalities. Mariah took it off the chain, pulled out a key to unlock the door and they both entered.
Billie stood there on the sidewalk debating whether to go into the alley. He then decided to go. He opened the door and inside was just like the inside of a basement. There was a couch and a table. To the right was a door. He opened it just a crack and inside Mariah sat on the floor crying with blood trickling from her arm. The dog lay beside her with his head on her lap. The dog looked up and barked. Mariah covered her arm with her sleeve and walked to the door. When she opened it she saw Billie three feet away still shocked by what he saw. Mariah ran to Billie and he wrapped his arms around her. Mariah cried into Billie's chest. After about ten minutes Mariah backed away and looked at Billie with her deep grey eyes." What is the place?" asked Billie, looking around. "Its where I live."
Billie was once again shocked. "Thats not all my secrets." Mariah said. Billie looked confused. A baby's cry came from the bedroom. Mariah walked towards the bedroom. "You don't have to leave, but if you want to, you can." Billie was so shocked that he just couldn't stay. He walked out into the alley and then walked home.
