Angels Do Exist, chapter 6
"Well.. what are you by dear?" Kiara said as calmly as she could. Mike, Billie Joe, and Tre' looked at her worriedly.
"I'm by some big thing, kind of an arch and a river," she said, almost panicking.
"You're by the riverfront, ok dear, I'm coming to get you," she said while taking a helmet and running outside. Mike ran with her, he followed her to the garage where she was revving up a motorcycle. "Where'd you get that?" he asked.
Kiara stopped revving the motorcycle and decided to give it a break, so she put on one of her sister's dirt biking suits over her clothes then tried it again, it worked! She tried zipping the suit in the back all the way, dang it! "Ugh, Mike, can you help me with this?" she asked. He nodded and zipped up the suit and watched her get on the motorcycle.
"This is St. Jimmy's, he lets me use it, take care of Seth for me while I'm gone, don't like Quincy get out, and don't worry, I'll be safe," she said out of breath.
"Be safe, Kiara, that's all I'm worried about," Mike called out. Kiara nodded and finally, the engine turned and she rode away with another helmet on the bike.
Mike walked back inside, Billie Joe looked at him, "Where's she going?" he asked him with big eyes.
"We're taking care of Seth, don't let Quincy get out, and she's obviously going to the riverfront to get Danielle." Mike seemed a little aggitated, and he paced back and forth, he heard barefeet hit the ground as he looked by the steps.
A new awakened Seth stood at the foot of the steps, he rubbed his eyes and yawned. "Where Mommy?" he asked timidly.
"She going to get something Seth, we're going to take care of you," Mike said while sitting down next to Tre' and Billie Joe. Seth seemed to just discover Billie Joe and his eyes brighten.
"Biwwie!" Seth squealed as he clambered Billie Joe's lap and hugged him. Billie Joe laughed and hugged Seth gently.
"Hey little guy," Billie Joe said.
Mike smiled and walked to the kitchen, wonder what kind of food she's got? He looked around the pantry, then the fridge, good stuff, but you have to cook it. "I'll just let her cook it," he said out loud. He walked back and checked out her movies, jeez there's so many!
"Wanna watch?" Mike heard a voice ask him, he jumped a little bit and heard a high squealing. He turned around and saw Seth giggling. "Seth, you scared me little guy," he said putting his hand on his chest to overexaggerate.
"I'm sorry Daddy," Seth said while hugging him. Mike looked at Billie Joe, who didn't know what to say. He looked at Tre', but Tre' didn't know what to do either. Then Mike thought about if he was ready to be in every aspect of Kiara's life, including Seth. But then he picked up Seth and set him on his lap and heard his soft snores by his ear as he put his head on Mike's shoulder. Mike didn't need to think anymore, he did want to be in every aspect.
After about an hour or so, the boys heard a motorcycle pull into the garage. They all ran outside, Mike still carrying a sleeping Seth, walking so not to wake him up. The passenger of the motorcycle jumped off while the rider stopped the engine and scooted it close to the edge of the garage, and put it on the balance. She took off her helmet and shook her head so not to get too much helmet hair. How does she manage to keep her hair that way? Mike wondered.
Danielle looked sourly at Kiara and her perfect hair, but softened after Seth woke up and looked at her. "Dani!" he squealed. Mike jumped because he didn't hear him wake up. She giggled and waved at Seth, and looked at Kiara, who managed, somehow, to get her perfect hair back. Kiara flashed one of her famous smiles at Mike and Seth as she put her helmet on the handlebars of the bike.
"Are you comfortable on that thing?" Tre' asked her while sitting on the bike.
"Ugh, no! That crappy croutch rocket is so uncomfortable it isn't even funny, I prefer a Harley or at least a Honda," she replied while taking off her biking shoes.
She tried unzipping the suit but just managed to looked like a retard. "Mike?" she begged. He nodded and slowly unzipped the suit.
"Jeez Mike, your acting like it's her wedding dress, just unzip the suit!" Tre' yelled. Mike blushed furiously and Kiara laughed with Billie Joe and Danielle.
She peeled off the suit and waved her hands around her face, "Dang it's hot in that suit," she complained.
"Let me cool you down babe," Mike said while putting both of his hands, which were freezing cold on Kiara's neck. She didn't tense up, or complain, no, she enjoyed the coolness on her neck.
"Jeez, are you crazy, Mike's hands are freezing cold and so are mine!" Billie Joe yelled. Kiara just held onto Mike's hands, which seemed to warm up instantly, what the heck? Mike looked at her, confused on how his hands, somehow got warm all of a sudden. Kiara gave him a very sly grin and motioned for him to sit down. He did and Kiara sat on his lap and kissed him on the hand, they turned cold again.
"That's weird," he said, Kiara nodded and kissed his cheek, now that turned cold.
"Mommy! I'm cold!" said Seth who was trying to bundle up next to Mike. Kiara put her hand on Seth's head and he stopped complaining. She smiled and wondered around, "Danielle, what should I make for like... dinner?" she asked Danielle.
Danielle's eyes brightened, "Alfredo!" she screamed out. The guys looked at her like she was crazy, alfredo, what the heck is that?
"Don't tell me you've never tasted alfredo before," Kiara said. All three boys shook their heads, she groaned, "Great, we're gonna get them hooked!" This thing is like an addiction.
After 20 minutes, the alfredo was done. The boys poked at it, why are the noodles flat? "Am I gonna have to feed it to you?" Kiara said, she wasn't hungry so she didn't eat it. Mike nodded and Kiara just laughed. She took Mike's fork and grabbed a couple of noodles and Mike opened his mouth, she feed the forkful to him. Mike swallowed and surprisingly enough, it was wonderful! Kiara laughed and kissed him, only this time, his lips didn't change. "You had some sauce on your lips, had to get it off somehow," Kiara laughed.
Seth giggled and ate his forkful of noodles. Kiara smiled and said, "I'm not feeding you two," she said pointing at Billie Joe and Tre'. Mike was sucking his noodles down like soup, "Mike slow down, there's plenty left," Kiara laughed.
"Mike, usually you're the picky eater," Billie Joe complained.
"I know, it's amazing," Mike said while trying to get Kiara to get him another bowl. Billie Joe looked at Tre', and Tre' at Billie Joe, they smelled the noodles, didn't smell poisonous, finally Billie Joe tried a forkful. He chewed and swallowed, Kiara was begging for his approval, he nodded and laughed and Tre' was soon eating his own noodles.
Kiara put the radio on halfway through dinner and on came on a very slow song, what station was this? Kiara didn't change it, she listened to it, it sounds preppy, yet, calming. Kiara put one knees on the floor and sat on it while putting her chin on her other knee. What was this?

Mike caught Kiara sitting awkwardly and came to sit beside her. He listened closely, recognizing the song, he smiled. He looked at Kiara and started singing to her, he picked her up and started to slow dance with her, right on the living room floor, while softly singing in her ear.

She smiled and kissed him roughly, yet deeply. He held her around her waist and she put her arms around his neck as they continued dancing to their song, which was slowly fading away. Danielle was glad for Kiara, ever since Brandon, she's been a little down, now she's back to normal. She smiled to herself and continued eating.
