What happens When Your Idol Is Your Dad?, chapter 2
"Whatever Dude" I shrugged.
I place my guitar down with great care and then settle my bass down in the back seat, before climbing back in front with Billie.
"So you play guitar?"
"No I have one because it looks pretty! What do you think?" I asked sarcastically.
"Your too like me for your own good" Billie chuckled.
"No! I'm nothing like you! I don't even know you! I'm me"
"Ok don't flip out kiddo"
"I'm not a kid I'm sixteen"
"How long you been playing?"
"8 years ever sense my mom gave me a guitar for my 8th birthday"
"You still got the guitar?"
"No! I trashed it!" I laughed as Billie's face fell.
"I'm just messing with ya, I have it, it's the one I just put in the boot, that guitar makes sense to me now, you got it for me didn't you? That's why it is a replica of your guitar Blue"
Billie nodded and gave a brief glance in my direction.
After a long silence Billie sighed.
"You know I have a wife and two sons?"
"No!" I lied through my teeth.
"Well you gonna get the chance to meet them" Billie smiled as the car pulled into a mansion.
I look up at the big house and all I could do was blink, I mean this thing was bigger than my school. I snapped myself out of my gaze and collected my guitar and bass.
"Let me help" Billie offered reaching for my bass.
"Here" I pushed my Hot Topic bag into his chest.
Billie led me into the house in the direction of a room where sound was coming from. Billie slipped into the room and pulled me in with him. 10 pairs of eyes snapped in my direction.
"Guys this is my daughter" Billie blushed as if ashamed.
"I'm only your daughter biologically"
"Well I was thought-"
"Well you thought wrong you haven't known me for sixteen years and now you only wanna know me because my Mom is dying" I sulked.
"I do know you"
"Don't even start, Mom has basically left me alone with a stranger, I don't know why I need to be here, I'm sixteen for fuck sake!"
"Don't use that language in my house!" 80 butted in.
"Look lady I don't even know you, but this is between me and that excuse for a father over there."
"Well that excuse for a father is my husband"
"Well Lady I feel for you"
"Don't speak to my Mom and Dad like that" A black haired boy younger than myself, broke into the argument.
"Whatever his not my dad any way, I'm leaving"
I went to storm out the room but was prevented by Billie.
"Come on Kiddo"
"Leave me the fuck alone I'm not a kid"
"You know you problem kid you took much like Billie" Tre piped up trying to lighten the mood.
"I'm nothing like HIM!" I shouted.
"Just sit down please?" Billie begged.
"You promised your Mom!" Billie gave me a stern look.
"Don't bring my Mom into this!" I threw myself on a vacant couch.
"Any way I didn't promise anything I said I will TRY to be nice"
"Well you're everything but nice" 80 mumbled.
I place my bass and guitar between my legs and held the neck tightly.
