"Aren't your parents gonna screw at you?"
"Yeah they are gonna be mad but fuck them! They don't care about me and I don't need them as long as I have you!"
I blushed.
"Yeah well I'm the most perfect human on this earth"
I heard a snort for 80's direction.
"Yeah don't I know it" Billie giggled.
"So any way where are you?"
"At Bj's house"
"What stop screwing with my mind!"
"Are you coming home tonight?"
"It's most unlikely" I frowned.
There was an awkward silence.
"Bill I'm not cheating on you I'm just at a friends house"
Billie sighed.
"Ok I believe you."
"You don't sound very convinced?"
"Well I'm not really, but I have no choice but to believe you!"
"Fine, whatever you feel dude!"
"That's the problem with you Amy half the time you don't give a fuck!"
"And your problem is you can't trust me after knowing me for 11 years!"
There was a long silence.
"Why the fuck are we fighting over this! look, something has happened in my life to do with my Dad and shit and I don't want to explain it over the phone."
"Well that's why I wanted to speak to you again to see if you wanted me to come to the hospital with you tomorrow?"
"Yeah that would be great. I promise I will explain everything to you there."
"What time you want me to be there?"
"I get there at seven am but you can come later if you want"
"No I'll meet you at the entrance at seven."
"Thanks Bill"
"No problem"
"I guess we're gonna go practice without you then?"
"That means I'm singing"
"Yep don't deafen them!"
"Thanks for the encouragement"
"Yeah it's what I do best"
"See ya tomorrow then?"
"Yeah"
"Bye Honey" I smiled with my back to everyone in the room.
"Aren't you gonna tell me that you love me?"
"Fine I love you!"
"That sounded so forced!"
"Thats because it was!" I snigger
"Your turn then!" I pipe up.
"I love you too"
I could here Tom and Marc snigger in the background.
"Amy and Billie sitting in a tree doing something they shouldn't be it begins with S and ends with X Oh my gosh it must be SEX!" Marc and Tom sang loudly.
Everyone in the room laughed at me. My face flushed red.
"Just wait till I see you tomorrow night you both are getting your arses kicked!" I vowed my threat down the phone.
"Man beater!" Marc screamed.
"Shut up guys!" Billie ordered.
"Night Amy"
"Night Bill"
Then the line went dead and I placed the phone back in my pocket. I turned round to face everyone.
"Who was that?" 80 asked.
"None of your business" I scoffed and threw myself back down into a seat.
"Are you gonna let her talk to me like that Billie?" 80 scolded.
"Amy calm down she only asked you a question?"
"Yeah that she doesn't need to know the answer to!"
I rolled my eyes.
"Well who was that then?" Billie asked.
"Friends, you people must be deaf if you didn't catch their names, that was Marc, Tom and Billie"
"And they are?"
"Friends"
"The way you let them speak to you" 80 shook her head.
"What do you care!"
"Billie and co I know you mean well but its obvious you don't want me here and I don't want to be here, so why don't I just leave, coz those guys are my friends they know what makes me happy and what makes me smile, they know what makes me sad and what makes me cry, and lets face it, you don't!" I huffed getting to my feet.
"I know one thing" Billie spoke up as I got to the door.
"As much as you hate to admit it I am your Dad, I can only get to know you if you give me a chance!" Billie made his way over to me slowly tears pumped down his face.
I hadn't noticed but I had stopped walking. Billie held his arms out to hug me but I stepped back.
"To soon huh?" Billie spoke softly so only I could hear him.
I nodded my head.
"Yeah they are gonna be mad but fuck them! They don't care about me and I don't need them as long as I have you!"
