After two hours of driving, Tré woke up and yawned.
"Hey, what's up guys?" he said groggily.
"Nothing much, we're almost to the hotel we're supposed to be," Billie Joe said while getting in another lane.
"Cool," was Tré's only reply.
"Hey Mike, I need to ask you something," Billie Joe said.
"Ask away," Mike said.
"Tré and I were walking around the track last night because we were bored and we saw Songbird doing some pretty freaky stuff off that cliff, what would you call it Tré?" Billie Joe questioned.
"Um... free falling you would call it I think," Tré replied while searching the seats for change.
"Oh yeah, she did that after I told her we were going on tour," Mike said while picking at his nails.
"You only told her last night!?" they yelled in unison.
"Yeah, I did ok? I forgot."
"Mike, we've known about this tour for three months and you just decided to tell her?" Billie Joe questioned.
"We weren't at the school for very long."
"We were there for two and a half months Mike!" Tré yelled.
"What do you want me to say you guys?" Mike questioned.
Both of them went quiet and so Mike put his 'The Clash' tape in the tape player and turned it all the way up. He didn't feel like banging his head like he usually did to it.
They got to the hotel and set down their bags in the room they had to share.
"Well gentlemen, this is the first day of the rest of our lives," Billie Joe sighed.
15 years later
"Billie! You have something from your high school!" Adrienne Armstrong yelled down the stairs to Billie Joe. Billie Joe, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool came up the stairs to eat, Billie came up to get his mail.
"Hey you guys, check this out," he laughed. Tré and Mike grabbed for the letter at the same time, Tré got it first.
"Hey, it's a high school reunion!" he smiled. Mike went white as snow as soon as he heard that. He promised Songbird he would come back, he never did.
"Mike dear, what's wrong?" Adie asked him when she saw his face.
"Huh? Oh, nothing Adie, it's nothing."
Billie Joe knew immediately why he went pale and sighed. Tré, on the other hand kept reading.
"We have to be dressed up, it's a formal event, and we can bring wives and/or girlfriends."
"Hmm, fun," Billie Joe said while kissing his wife's head. Adie knew about Billie Joe's powers, and they had already wondered if they should put Joey through the school since they realized he had often read their mind and used it against them.
"I wonder if Professer X is still there," Mike mumbled.
"It says here that Professer X has retired from there, and he gave the right of professer of the school to a woman."
"I wonder which one," Billie Joe wondered.
"I hope it's not Tornado, she was a brat."
"No, it's probably you-know-who, she was there since she was like what, six or something?" Billie Joe answered.
"You-know-who?" Adie questioned. Mike sighed and walked out, should he go or should he just ignore his problems? He has had too many visions since then and he knew of their success for ten years and he had been waiting for the letter but not if he should go.
"Mike!" Billie Joe said while walking behind him. Mike jumped a little bit and looked at Billie Joe.
"You can't run away forever," he said.
"I know Bill, but I'm really scared, and I don't know if I would want to endure her again."
"She's not a disease Mike, she was the one that welcomed us with open arms, she taught us all we need to know about our powers and took us to the one high school that was so laid back that we could've just stayed in our rooms forever and they wouldn't care."
"But, I'm afraid she's going to hate me."
"At least she has a reason too."
"True, ok, when is this stupid reunion."
"Next week."
"I guess we need to find out something to wear."
A week later
"Joey, are you ok with the babysitter?" Adie asked Joey. Joey nodded as he kept playing Call of Duty.
"Ok, come on you guys, we're going to be late!" she yelled. Mike and Billie Joe hurried downstairs while fixing theiir suits and Tré slide down the railing.
They got to the high school's lobby which was humongus.
"This brings back too many memories," Tré laughed.
"It does, doesn't it?" Billie Joe agreed. Mike wasn't listening, he was looking around for Songbird.
Finally, he saw her, she had her wings wrapped herself like a cape. She had a skinny black dog on the side of her, it wasn't purebred, that was for sure, he looked like a puppy. She was leaning against a wall, very alert and a bit jumpy.
"Billie," Mike called out. Billie Joe was talking to someone he recgonized as Spike, but he stopped when Mike called for him. He walked over to Mike and saw her.
"I'll bring Tré and Adie over to her, you come later," he said to Mike. Mike nodded in return, so Billie Joe walked over there with his wife and friend.

Songbird leaned against the wall, she knew everyone of them, but she still hasn't found Mike. She wanted to tell him so badly about what happened after he left.
Finally she saw Billie Joe, Tré, and a woman with dreadlocks come over to her. Aero started to bark at them. He was named after Aerosmith and was the offspring of Disco and some other random dog.
"Aero, hush," she said. Billie Joe took one look at her and she smiled. He laughed while he opened his arms.
"Neither do I Mike, neither do I."
