Little To Be Told, chapter 2

Gum peeling, Sam's specialty. At her old school she got so many detentions this is the price she got from it, a talent of peeling gum off the bottom of desks and chairs. Billie Joe and she got to go to the gym and some of the classrooms and peel off gum for an hour. What fun they had, they really got to know how much they both loved the same artist and the same type of music. Punk. That's the main thing they talked about was music, they both loved it so detention wasn't all that bad. Billie Joe also found out that Sam was terrified of spiders. Sam had met a spider under the desk in some random science room, and literally started screaming so loud about five teachers ran in to find Sam hiding behind a desk and Billie Joe laughing at her. She got a bad first impression from them when she told them all the screaming was from a tiny spider.
After their hour of fun, Sam had to go home and so did Billie Joe, he invited her to come over to his house and watch him and his band practice. She found out during detention the band consisted of Billie Joe as lead vocals and guitar, Mike as bass and back up vocals, and a kid by the name of Tre Cool on drums.
The next day after school Sam walked with Mike and Billie Joe to Billie's house that Makie was living in. When they got there a kid burst though the front door, and knocked Sam off her feet. She looked at the kid now lying on top of her; he had bright green hair and a huge smile. She laughed at how happy he looked.
"So you're the Sam character." He said as Mike pulled him off her. Billie Joe helped her up.
"Tre be nice." Mike said.
"I am." He said innocently.
"Well Sam this is Tre Cool he is the drummer of our band." Sam looked at him he was twirling a drumstick between his fingers.
"Uhhh I can see that." Billie Joe walked by him and whacked him on the back of the head and said.
"Stop showing off."
"Yes sir." he said holding his hands up and following Billie Joe into the house. She started to laugh she could tell this was his normal behaviour, funny. Always a good quality.
"So Sam what song do you want to here first?" Billie Joe said handing her a piece of paper that had all the names of the songs on it.
"Hhhhmmm At The Library sound good how a 'bout that one?"
"Uhh ok." They started playing songs and just kept ploughing though them. After about an hour they stopped all sweaty and everything.
"What did you think?" Mike asked. Billie Joe and Tre watched.
"I think you guys are now in my top five."
"Really awesome." Billie Joe said.
"Out of what?" Tre asked.
"I don't know about 60."
"Sweet." said Billie Joe quietly.
"Very." Tre added. Just them Billie's mom walked in.
"Oh hi boys." She smiled at them. "Oh and who's this?" She asked Sam
"Hi I'm Sam." She said shaking her hand.
"Nice to meet you Sam. What would you guys like for dinner?" she asked.
"Umm how a 'bout veggie burgers." Billie Joe asked his mom.
"Alright Hun." She said walking out of the room.
"Your mom's nice." Sam couldn't help but state.
"Yeah she's been though a lot." That's a weird statement Sam thought, she wanted to ask why but thought not to. A little while after dinner Sam went home.
After a couple of months, the four of them were unstoppable. Everywhere they went with each other; it was incredibly rare to not see then with at least one of the other. People were known to give weird looks at them when one was alone. The four of them got detention together (except Tre who went to a different school), went to mall together everything. They kept no secrets, except for Sam who had one but didn't want to tell it until one night 5 months after they all met.
