Ha ha, you're dead!, chapter 10
"Do we want to do this?" Cara asked. I nodded and kissed her on the cheek. "At least I want to! Do you?" I asked. Cara looked a bit troubled. "I don't know what I want anymore. You see, I've met this person..." Oh no, this couldn't be happening! Was Cara dumping me. "I need to find out if I'm gay or straight or bi or whatever....Do you think......we....can wait?" I stared at her with my mouth open. This couldn't be happening! I stood up and walked slowly away. "I have waited!" I said and ran off. Cara didn't even try to stop me!
When I got home Billie and Tre was still in my room. "What's wrong princess?" Billie said and lay an arm around my shoulders. "Why is this happening to me? What did I do to deserve this?" I said and explained the whole thing to Tre and Billie. They didn't say anything, cause they didn't know what to do. They just were there. Holding around me while I cried for the 123235436838476098 time that week. Billie played with a lock of my hair. "You know, you should meet Adrienne. She's really good at giving advice!" I looked up at him. I probably looked like shit. "Do you like Adrienne?" I asked Billie and looked at him. He nodded. "Yeah..I do! But she's really nice Maria! You should meet her! I hate to see you cry!" He kissed me on the cheek. "I'll call her!"
"Hey! I'm Adrienne! Nice to meet you!" she said and shook my hand. She was really pretty. I didn't blame Billie for liking her! And her voice could have belonged to an angel or something. I bet if God was a girl(or if he exists) he would sound something like that. "Nice to meet you too! I'm Maria." I said and dried up some of my tears. "I'm sorry that you have to see me like this. I've just had a rough week you know!" Adrienne nodded. "Yeah, Billie told me about you fighting!" I nodded and told her the whole story. I don't know why. But it felt like I could trust her! "But you know what? Don't think about it. That girl you like, if she don't want you, she's not worth it!" Adrienne said and gave me a hug. "C'mon! Let's go out and have some fun!" she said and took my arm. "NO DRINKING!!" I yelled and everybody laughed. "I just think I've had enough drinking for a while!" Adrienne nodded and dragged me outside where she pointed at a poster. There was a carnival in town. "It'll keep your mind off your worries! At least for a while." She said and so me, Adrienne, Tre and Billie went.
"C'mon! Let's take the rollercoaster!! Let's get some adrenaline pumping!" I said. It really did work. I'd never had so much fun without drinking in ages. I was like a little kid again. Running around don't knowing where to start. Adrienne laughed and looked at the clock. "I'm sorry guys. I gotta go. So....I'll see you guys later okay!" She said and waved and started to walk away. Billie looked at her with this strange look. "What are you waiting for? The sky to fall down?" I said and pushed him. Billie smiled and ran after Adrienne and stopped her. I couldn't hear what he was saying, cause they were to far away and then he kissed her.
