Ha ha, you're dead!, chapter 4
"What the fuck did you do!" I yelled at Billie.
Jim just laid there. He didn't move.
"He was coming on to you!" Billie yelled back and looked at me with a hurt look.
"Yeah, but he didn't know that we're a couple!" I said and sat down next to Jim. "He's a nice guy okay." Billie just looked down.
Mike sat down next me and looked at Jim.
"We have to get him to the hospital!" he said and looked at the blood coming from Jim's head. "And we have to stop that bleeding!" Billie took his shirt off.
"Here," he said, "I'll call the hospital and ask them to come get him."
He went over to the phone. I felt a tear fall from my eyes. "Billie! Why are you such and asshole sometimes?" I thought, but focused on wrapping Billie's shirt around Jim's head.
"The hospital people will be here in five minutes!" Billie said.
We sat next to Jim's bed. Me, Billie and Mike. We didn't say anything, just looked at Jim. The doctors said he was asleep. That he would be just fine thanks to us. We told the doctors we found him like that in the hallway.
"We're going now. You coming?" Mike said.
"Nah, I'll stay a little longer." I said and gave Mike a smile. He gave me a light hug and went outside.
"Billie, I..." I said, but I didn't get to finish.
Billie interrupted me. "Save it!" he said and walked out the door. I followed him.
"Please don't be mad at me Billie! I can't stand it!" I whispered and started crying. He lay his arms around me.
"I'm not mad at you!" he said and kissed me. He waved goodbye as he walked out. I went back into the room, where I found Jim awake.
"Maria? Is Billie here?" He said and looked really frightened.
"He just left. We told the doctors that we found you like that in the hallway... Will you tell them a matching story?" I said and took his hand. He looked perplexed.
"But, Billie... He... And... "
"Please! For me?" I said. He nodded. I gave him a hug. "I have to go now. Mum's probably worried... And, just because we can't be dating, doesn't mean we can't be friends!" I said and looked at Jim.
Jim smiled. "Friends! And... Maria? Will you tell Billie... That I'm sorry and that I didn't know you guys where dating" he said. I nodded and left.
When I got to my house the clock had turned 11 pm. I had taken a long wake. Billie was sitting outside his house. "I told your mum what happened. And... She said it was nice of me to tell her!" he smiled. I ran over and gave him a hug.
"Billie Joe Armstrong! You're an angel!" I said and kissed him.
He laughed. "And Jim wanted me to tell you that he was sorry and that he won't rat you out." I said.
Billie smiled and looked down. "Yeah, he's a nice guy!" he said and took my hand. I lead him inside his house and into his room. We lay down in the bed. Billie kissed my neck. I smiled and hoped that Jim would keep his promise.
"I got to tell you something!" I said to Billie the next morning. "That was my first time." Billie kissed me.
"That doesn't matter!" he said and lay his arm around me.
Jim just laid there. He didn't move.
