Ha ha, you're dead!, chapter 6
"What? You're kidding me right?" Billie said excited. I shook my head and told him the whole story. That my cousin Frank was coming to stay with us for a while and that he was a really good drummer and a really cool and funny person. Billie couldn't stop smiling.
Mike came in. "Okay what's the great news!" he said and looked at me and Billie smiling from ear to ear. "Don't tell me the good news is that you have deflowered her?" He said to Billie.
"Ehm, no! It's not that. I've found you a drummer!" I said and gave him a hug and told the same story to Mike. He neither could believe it.
"This calls for celebration!" Billie said and took a jacket from his closet. "Mum, we're going down to the bar!" Billie yelled and dragged us out the door before his mother could answer.
I looked at the clock that showed that I was going to be late home again. "Man, mum's going to be pissed!" I said when I heard the door open. I looked and there my cousin Frank stood. "Frank! Over here!" I yelled. I gave him a hug and introduced him to Billie and Mike.
"I'm not Frank anymore! Now I'm Tre Cool!" Frank said to us. "It means very cool in French!" He said and grinned.
"You found a band yet?" I asked him and he shook his head. I grinned. "Mike and Billie have a band. They're missing a drummer!" I said and winked at him. "I'll leave you here to talk about it. I'll see you at home, Tre Cool!"
Billie took my hand. "I want you to stay!" he whispered. I kissed him on the cheek.
"You have to stay!" Tre said. "I don't know the way back to your place!"
I laughed. "Then how did you get out here?"
"I can smell my way to a good bar!" he said and took a sip of his beer. I laughed and sat down next to Billie. We stayed there until about 12pm and walked a bit out of balance home.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" A girls voice said. She had short black hair with some green in it. But what I noticed the most was here amazingly, electric blue eyes!
"Why don't you go where you are watching! Watch where you are going I mean!" Mike said.
"Because I'm much cooler than you!" she laughed and noticed that I was staring at her. "What are you staring at?" she said and walked towards me.
"You, uhm...your hair! It's so cool!" I said and smiled.
She laughed. "Thanks, I'm Cara!" she reached her hand out.
"I'm Maria!" I said and shook it. "This is my boyfriend Billie and our friend Mike and my cousin Fran... Tre Cool!"
"So what are you doing out here at this hour?" Tre asked and put on his flirty face.
"Walking... and you guys?" she replied and looked really uncomfortable as Tre put his arm around her shoulders.
"Celebrating!" I said and dragged her away from Tre. "Billie and Mike just got Tre as a drummer for their band!"
"I need to get home. Mum's probably worried!" I said.
"We'll stay a bit longer!" Billie said. "We need to talk things over. I'll follow Tre to your place when we're done!" he kissed me and waved as I started walking toward my house.
"Hey, Maria! Wait!" Cara yelled after me. "Thanks! I'm sorry to say this, but your cousin is really annoying!"
I laughed. "Yeah, that's true, but he's really cute when you get to know him!" I winked at her.
"No! You don't get it!" Cara said.
"What do I not get?" I asked.
"Tre's a nice guy and he likes you!"
