"Tell me who you love!", chapter 5

The day Cassie had dreaded finally arrived. The day of the concert.
"Mum, get up! We've got to get their early to get a good place!" Cassie heard Ail shout.
"Ali, get off me, and I'm getting up, now go" Cassie said, rubbing her eyes. Ali ran from the room, to leave his mum to get dressed.
Cassie got up, pulled on some black pants and a red strappy top, put on some eye liner and slipped her feet into her converse.
Once dressed, she headed downstairs to an eager waiting boy and girl, dressed up to the nines.
"Melissa, you can't wear that top, now go and change" Cassie ordered. Melissa was wearing a short black and purple skirt, with a deep purple corset top.
"But mum, this is a concert, and besides if we're going back stage to see Billie, then I have to look my best" Melissa said. Cassie couldn't help but think how much of a teenie Melissa just sounded.
"Melissa, Billie Joe is 33 years old and is old enough to be your father" Cassie said, hoping Melissa would change her mind.
"Oh so what? He's hot and has a great talent, it's not like I'm expecting him to marry me for gods sake!" Melissa wined, but headed up the stairs anyway to change her top.
"Right Ali, I know how much Tre Cool is your idol, but don't go boasting about your drumming skill, got it dude?" Cassie said, looking at her son.
"Yeah, whatever mum, no please hurry up so we can go!" Ali said, getting fidgety.

After about another half hour, of scoffing down toast and making sure everyone was settled, they made their way up the motorway to where Cassie was going to meet her death.

"Mum, put this CD in will you" Melissa said, handing a CD to her mum. Cassie took it and put it into the player, almost immediately a familiar voice blared out of the speakers.
"For goodness sake Melissa, you're going to see them play these songs shortly, so can't you live without hearing them for at least ten minutes?" Cassie shouted, pulling out the CD and chucking it back to Melissa, where it landed on the car floor.
"Mum! You've scratched it now! And what the fuck has got to you lately? You seem to really hate the idea of me going to see Green Day!" Melissa shouted back. She was right, but she couldn't tell her that.
"I don't hate the idea, and don't take that tone with me or I shall turn back home" she said back. Melissa shut up straight away, but sat in a huff for the rest of the journey.

When they got there, Cassie started to feel really sick with nerves. She was going to see the guys that she hadn't seen in 18 years. She had the sudden urge to turn back and forget about all of this. But she couldn't turn back now. Cassie handed over the tickets, and was pulled along by her children to the front of the crowd. They pushed past lots of people and finally stopped, when Melissa was happy that they were close enough to the stage.
"Mum, because we've got about an 8 hour wait, can we go back stage now?" Ali asked excitedly. Cassie wanted to say no, but sooner or later she would have to go back there.
"Erm, I suppose, come on then" Cassie said, going paler with nerves every second.

They headed over towards the side of the stage where a man was standing, presumably waiting for them. They handed their passes over and walked through the barrier, where they were shown to some steps to the side. Cassie should feel her knees buckling up, she couldn't do this.

Finally, they were shown to a door at the back of the stage, where they wait to be let in. Time seemed to be going so slow, when finally the door handle turned and Cassie came to face a boy that had changed into a magnificent man. Billie.
