"Tell me who you love!", chapter 9

For the rest of the day, Melissa and Ali spent it looking around the guy's dressing rooms, and looking at their instruments whilst Tre and Cassie sat alone in a room, catching up on the old times.

"So, the love of my life, what has happened to your life in the past 18 years?" Tre asked.
"Well I got went to college, got married, had twins, got a job, moved about 5 times and then ended up here." Cassie said.
"Wow, so your hubby don't like our music then?" Tre asked.
"What?" Cassie asked confused.
"Well, he isn't here so I guessed he doesn't like our music." Tre replied.
"No, erm he died when the twins were young." Cassie said.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Cassie." Tre said, squeezing her hand.
"It's ok, you weren't to know." Cassie said softly.

"So what happened to you Tre?" Cassie asked, breaking the silence.
"Well, I dropped out of school, carried on with the band, did a few gigs, got famous, got married twice, got divorced twice, and had kids, twice." Tre said.
"Wow, things happen in two's? Well I'm sorry things didn't work out." Cassie said.
"Nah it's ok." Tre said, shrugging.
"Tell me one thing Cassie," Tre said. "Why did you leave?" Tre asked, looking deep into her eyes.
The question, Cassie hoped no one would ask, had to come from Tre didn't it?
"I guess, I was scared, confused and fucked up." Cassie replied.
"We were all fucked up, that's what brought us together, and what would you be scared of?" He asked.
"Getting hurt I guess," She replied, looking down at the table.
"Well, I don't know why you would be scared, all I remember was the last time I saw you, was when I had a black eye and you were running away from Billie." Tre said.
"Oh god you don't know." Cassie moaned.
"Don't know what?" He asked, worried.
"Billie told me he loved me," Cassie said simply.
"HE WHAT?" Tre shouted.
"He told me he loved me, that's why he beat the shit out of you, for kissing me that day at the parlour, he just came out with it, I wasn't expecting it and I guess just flipped out-I was scared I would get hurt in it all." Cassie said. She could feel tears welling up in her eyes.
"Fuck-dam it's my entire fault." Tre said, thumping his fist down on the table.
"It's not your fault Tre," She said, rubbing the back of Tre's hand.
"If I hadn't kissed you, none of this shit would had have happened!" He said, looking back into Cassie's eyes.
"Tre, if this is shit-then why have we been brought back together all these years later?" Cassie asked.
Tre lifted his hand and rubbed Cassie's damp cheek. Cassie smiled back at him, and then stood up.
"I got to go and find Ali and Melissa, they must be starved." Cassie said, walking over to the door.
Tre got up and followed her, placing a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and watched as Tre moved closer towards her. Their lips were brought together, Tre's tongue cruising Cassie's lips, begging for entrance. Cassie dropped her bag, as Tre pushed her back against the wall, pinning her against it. Cassie caressed the back of Tre's neck, moving her hands softly down his back. He kissed her lips, nose, jaw line and nibbled on her ears softly.
Cassie was panting for breath, as Tre moved his hands up the back of her shirt, causing it to ride up with his hands. She could feel his hands move round to the front, playing with her buttons. Cassie moaned slightly, but grabbed Tre's hands and pushed him away.
"Tre, I can't not now, not here," Cassie said firmly.
"Why not?" Tre asked, moving closer to her again.
"No Tre, I'm not ready, this isn't right." Cassie said, pushing him back once again.
"Ok, fine, but I'll be waiting... " Tre said, moving out of the way so she could leave.
Cassie bent down and picked up her bag and headed out the door, not before receiving a pat on the bum by Tre.
