Reagan? Weird name for a girl., chapter 3

Reagan ran Tre some more hot chocolate. "Ttthannnksss." He stuttered. She sat beside him and hugged him. Tre smiled with pleasure. Billie scowled at Tre. "What?" Tre asked, noticing Billie scowling at him. "Nothing." He said flatly. Tre shrugged and cuddled with Reagan. Billie stomped off to his room and slammed the door. Reagan broke away from Tre and went into Billie's room. "Is something wrong, Billie?" She asked. "No. Go tend to Tre's needs." He said sarcastically. "Oh." Reagan said. "That's what this is about." Billie looked out the window, frowning. She eyed him suspiciously. "Are you... Jealous?" She asked. Billie continued looking out the window. "No." He said. Reagan smiled. "Yeah you are." Billie shot her a look. She smiled at him. He tried holding back a smile, but couldn't. "Alright, maybe a little." She laughed. "I knew it!" She threw a pillow at him. "HEY!" He said, laughing. He picked up the pillow and threw it back. Billie tried to run away, but he slipped on something on the floor. Reagan went into a fit of laughter. "What're you laughing at?!" He grabbed her and threw her down with him. They laid there, laughing. When the laughing died down, they laid on the floor, staring at the ceiling. Billie looked at her, but she didn't notice. She just stared at the ceiling. She looked back at him and smiled. He pulled her closer and kissed her. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist. "RREAGGANN! CCOMME HHHEERRRE!" Tre screamed from the living room. Billie broke away and sighed deeply. "Every time." He said. Reagan laughed. "I'll be right back. Stay here." She got up and walked out of the room.

"What, Tre?" She was getting sick of being his maid. "Whatcha doin' in there?" He asked. Reagan lifted her eyebrows at him. "Glad to see you've stopped shivering." Tre looked at her. "What? Oh, shit. I'm mmmeaan brrrrrrrr! Wwwwilll yyyooouu hhhoollllddd meee?" He held his arms out. She laughed. "Alright, you knucklehead. What's up?" She sat on the couch next to him. He sighed. "I dunno. I just... You and Billie... In there, alone..." She sighed. "This could be a problem." She said. "Hold on a second. I'll be back." She went back into Billie's room where he was still laying on the floor. She sat on the bed. He got up and looked at her mischievously. "Oh, well. If you want to go there then..." He jumped on top of her and started kissing her passionately. She pulled him away. "What? Too fast?" He asked, panting. "No, no. It's just..." He looked at her. "What?" She sighed. "It's Tre. He's-" Billie interrupted. "I knew it. He's jealous, too." She nodded. "Ugh, little fucker." Billie mumbled. "Well, I don't want to mess anything up. We've known each other for- what- three days? And we're all ready to get in bed with each other. But you and Tre have been friends for like eight years. And I don't wanna-" He put his finger to her lips to quiet her. "If you don't want to be with me that's... Ok, I guess." She put his hand into hers. "No, Billie. I really really like you. But Tre is-" He kissed her. "I'll talk to Tre. Wait here." He kissed her again and got up. "Billie. Maybe I should-" But he already left.

"Tre, can I talk to you?" Billie asked. Tre looked up from the television and nodded. He clicked off the t. V. And sat up. "What's up?" He asked. Billie sighed. "Do you... You know... Have feelings for Reagan?" Tre stared at Billie, not saying a word. Then he sighed and nodded. Billie sunk into the couch and put his head in his hands. "She's right, this could be a problem." He mumbled. "Do you?" Tre asked. "Yup. I like her. A LOT." Billie said. Tre took a deep breath. "Oh dear." Tre said in a funny, squeaky, high voice. "This could be a problem." Billie laughed. "So, now what?" Billie asked. Tre shrugged. "Well, we can't both have her. One of us can, or we could both just find someone else." Billie looked at him. "I was kidding. I'll have her on weekends and Mondays. You can have her the rest of the week." Billie laughed. Reagan then entered the living room, humming a pretty song. "What's so funny?" She asked. "Nothin'." They said in unison. "Whatcha humming'?" Tre asked. "For me, it's you." Reagan said. "Well, will ya sing it for us?" She laughed. "Nah. I'm a terrible singer." Tre snorted. "By the sound of your humming, I bet not." She giggled. "No. Maybe later." "Aww, come on." Billie pleaded. "Alright. But I need some aspirin." "First shelf on the left." Billie said. "Now start singing'." She rolled her eyes and searched the cupboards and singing as she was looking.

"If I ever find truth, I'm gonna let you know.
If I ever find faith, I'm gonna sit in every bit of it's after glow.
If I ever find a way to bring love here today,
You better bet your life that this is what I'll say.
Give it if you got it, get it if you don't.
And take my hand in the meantime.
And let's walk into the sunshine.
Everybody's got something they wanna sing about
Laugh about
Cry about, it's true.
For me, it's you."

Billie and Tre smiled. "B-E-A- utiful." Tre said. She smiled. She swallowed the pills and sighed. "I gotta terrible headache." Billie got up and walked over to her. He felt her forehead. "You're a little warm. Why don't you go lay down? Go on, in my room. Go on." He patted her ass and she went to lay down. Then he joined Tre back on the couch. Tre looked at him thoughtfully. "What?" Billie asked. "Nuttin. You two would be cute together." Billie lifted his eyebrows. "Seriously?" Tre nodded. "Go ahead." Tre said. Billie patted him on the back. "Thanks man, thanks a lot."
