Locked in the Attic. (Joey and Jakob), chapter 1
The sun was shining down and there was a soft breeze. Billie and Adrienne were sitting int he garden watching Joey and Jakob oplay with there toys. Jakob and Joey ran off down the field and they were having the time of their lives.
The ball they were playing with was quite boucy and they kept banging into each other trying to catch it. They were so happy that they didn't hear their parents calling them and they didn't notice how far they had run. Joey thought to himself, "The night time sky is so dark..."
Jakob moved closer to Joey and said, "Urr Joey, where are we? " Joey said, "I don't know but I can see a house up ahead lets ask if we can use their phone."So off the boys went but Jakob piped up, "I'm not sure if we should you know. Dad always told us to be carefula bout strangers." Joey replied, "Yeah but we are desperate. It'll be ok little dude. "So Joey took Jakobs hand and the walked to the where the light was. It was a big farm house. It had massive gates and a buzzer.
Meanwhile...
Adrienne was getting a bit worried about the boys. She looked at Billie and said, " Billie, where are the boys? They should've been back by now..." Billie looked at Adrienne and said, "Yeah they should but it gives us time to.. You know make out." Adrienne looked at Billie and before she could stop them, He pounced.
Billie tickled Adrienne fell to the floor in a heap laughing her head off. Billie then fell on top of her and burst out laughing too. Then they got up and pulled themselves together. Billie got his coat and Adrienne gave him an adoring smile and he gave one back and they went out the door looking for Joey and Jakob.
Back at the house
Jakob had realised where he was so he wasn't to scared anymore but he didn't want to go inside. He didn't like the house it made him feel really creeped out. So he just stood at looked and looked at it for a minute.
He was freezing cold because it was so dark now and Jakob was sobbing beacuse he also was cold. So Joey realised he had to do something and he thought, " Well I can't stay out here all night with Jakob it's not safe. We'd better ring the door bell." So Jakob reached up and rang the door bell. The voice on the other side was young sounding but not as young as them.
Then as if by magic the gates opened...
Of course it wasn't magic, Jakob told Joey, it was the mechanism in the gates activated by the remote control that made it do it. Joey smiled at his brother because Jakob was cute when he was scared. He tended to babble so that he wasn't scared any more.
They stared at the gate for a split second and went in. The drive way was littered with lights and it was easy to find they way up to the house. Once inside, The boys enjoyed soup, bread, cakes, the works. Jakob and Joey were starving and thirsty. They totally forgot about being lost and got stuck in.
Mrs Kimberly was the owner of the house and she was slightly strange but the boys thought she was nice enough. Joey had a piece of chocolate cake in his hands and Jakob had a flump. He'd never tried a flump before and was really enjoying it.
Suddenly the boys felt so tired. Mrs Kimberly came in said, " Boys, do you want to go to bed?" They both nodded off and Mrs Kimberly helped them up to bed. Joey said with a big yawn, " What about our parents?" Mrs Kmiberly replied, " I'm sure they'll be here soon." Five minutes later the boys were asleep.
