2,000 Light Years Away, chapter 6
Adie and Billie had the best sex ever that night. It was amazing, considering the size Billie Joe was. Things were going great.
That morning when Billie Joe woke up he was all alone in bed, naked. He pulled the covers off and shuffled his way into the kitchen, sleepily. Adie spun around.
"Hey sexy." she winked
"Good morning, babe." Billie replied with a sleepy smile.
"Uhm. Forgot how to get dressed?" Adie smiled, pointing down at Billie's dick.
He laughed "Whoops."
Adie handed him his boxers and a cup of coffee, and they sat down together on the couch.
"Billie, I need to go out and run a few errands today." She put her arm around Billie's neck, and he put his arm around her waist.
"Alrighty then. What time are you coming home?"
"I'll be back at around 6."
Billie Joe frowned "Awww, that long? And on a Saturday?"
"I'm sorry." Adie frowned too, "Just do something useful while I'm gone."
They finished their coffee, and right away Adie left, stopping at the front door to give Billie Joe one long, passionate kiss.
-----Later that day at 3:00 PM-----
Adie parked her car in the driveway in front of the building that read "John's Rock Shop", the music place she worked at. (You know, that place where she met Billie Joe) The store was empty except 4 customers, and Adie's friend Katie, who was a cashier.
Katie looked up from the Rolling Stone magazine and looked up at Adie through her thick, black, square rimmed glasses. Katie was really cute, with short, boyish, bright red hair, and a short black and white polka dot dress with ripped jeans under.
"Adrienne! I'm so glad you came!" she shoved her magazine into a drawer and shuffled through a stack of paper work.
"Uhm. Hey, what's up, Katie?"
Katie didn't reply. She kept shuffling through her papers until she found a yellow post it.
She handed the little note to Adie.
"This is for you. You'll never believe who stopped by!" Katie exclaimed, wide eyed.
Adie looked down at the paper and read aloud slowly "Kyle. 276-0122"
Adie stared Katie in the eyes, as if Katie was some kind of ghost.
"Adrienne, Kyle's looking for you. He says he misses you and wants you back."
"What bull shit!" Adie said in a slow, distracted voice, still staring down at the paper."
"Yeah! I know! Tell that jerk to fuck off! He's such an ass for what he did to you! And he's dangerous! He cheated on you, and even... Well, you know... Did that one thing to you. You never told Billie Joe about the other thing Kyle did, did you?." Katie said, chewing at her black painted fingernails.
"No, I didn't."
Adie turned the paper over. There was an address written on the back.
"Are you sure this is him? "
"Defiantly!" Katie said in a 'No duh! ' kind of voice.
"Tell that bastard off! He left you for that one chick and now he's crawling back. Step all over him!" Katie got up from the cash register and tripped over an amp. She pushed her glasses up her nose and walked over to Adie, starting at Adie straight in the eyes, trying to figure out her expression.
"Oh no, Adie. No no no! Please don't tell me you're going back after him."
-----Later that day at 9:43 PM, back at Adie's apartment-----
Billie Joe looked up at the clock hanging on the wall. Adie said she'd be home by 6, and it was almost 10. He pattered his fingers against the kitchen table. A bouquet of red roses were ready in position next to the chocolate cake Billie had made for Adie. He wanted to do a little something special for her that night.
He sighed. He was getting worried. Billie Joe could picture Adie trying to get into her car while it was dark out. He pictured a man in a ski mask coming up behind her and grabbing her and forcing her into his car as she kicked and screamed.
After such thoughts Billie sprang up and punched in the number to John's Rock Shop. It rang twice, then a girl picked up.
"Uhm. Who's this? I'm sorry, but we're closing."
"Who's this? Is this Katie or Jeena?" Billie asked, frantically.
"This is Katie. Who's this?" Katie said in a confused voice.
"It's Billie. Where's Adie? She said she'd be back by 6 and she's not home."
"Oh my goodness!" Katie half way screamed, and clumsily dropped the phone with a dull clunk.
"Where the fuck is she?!" Billie Joe asked, freaking out.
"She left for Kyle's house at 3!" Katie said. Billie Joe could hear noises in the background as if she was fumbling through a drawer.
"WHO THE FUCK IS KYLE?!
"Kyle is her ex bf. He dumped her for this one girl."
Billie Joe snarled.
"WHERE DOES KYLE LIVE?!"
Katie slammed something shut.
"No time to talk. Meet me at Honey Pine avenue. That's not that far away from your house."
"BUT WAIT-"
Too late, Katie had slammed down the phone, leaving Billie Joe confused and alone.
Billie Joe walked for 15 minutes until he reached the sign that said Honey Pine AV. An old fashioned, green punch buggy sped down the street, nearly running over Billie Joe.
Katie rolled down the window
"What the fuck? You almost ran over me!"
"Billie Joe, just shut the fuck up and get into the car right now!" Katie said in a mom like voice. Katie was always sweet and funny, but right now a whole new side of her was showing. A pissed off bitchy one.
Billie Joe hopped into the passenger seat and Katie backed up way too fast. There was a loud crash. The crashing sound of a metal bumper on the side of an expensive car.
Katie and Billie smooshed up against their windows at the same time to look through in the rearview mirror. Clumsy Katie had put this huge ass scratch onto a yellow hummer.
"Shit." Katie said, biting her lip. "Oh well, no time to fuss." she stepped on the gas and sped like a psycho.
"So who's Kyle?" Billie asked.
Katie swerved and made a sharp left turn. The side of Billie's face hit his window.
"He's Adie's ex. I don't think Adie wanted me to tell you this, but he raped her."
"What?!" Billie Joe almost yelled, shocked.
"Yeah. We gotta get to his house. Something is fishy about this." Katie said, keeping her eyes glued to the road for any cop cars.
"Do you even know where he-"
"That would be 322 Spring Dew lane." said Katie, like a robot.
"Oh. Well where is that at?" Billie asked, puzzled.
"Just around the corner." she mumbled.
They took a few turns and came to a small neighborhood. There was house 322. All the lights were off in the house, but there was a truck parked in front on the house, and Adie's car right next to it.
"She's there!" Billie Joe pulled open the rusty door and bolted out of the car.
"Billie Joe, wait!" Katie whined.
There was no stopping Billie Joe. He was at the door. He rang the door bell twice. No answer. He knocked a few times. No answer. His knocking turned into violent pounding as someone answered the door. It was a tall man, with a mohawk. He looked like a tired drug-addict.
"Yeah?" the guys said, tiredly.
His clothes smelt of cigarette smoke.
Billie Joe felt like a midget next to this guy.
"Hey man. Are you Kyle?" Billie Joe tried to look behind the guy to see if there was anyone in the house, but it was too dark to see.
"Yeah, I'm Kyle." he said, casually.
"Where the hell is Adrienne?" Billie Joe growled.
"Adrienne? She's not here." Kyle shrugged.
Katie joined Billie Joe at the door way. She looked furious.
"LOOK YOU BASTARD, WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?"
"Hey, calm down, bitch. I told you, she's not here!" Kyle said, looking a bit mad now.
"But that's her car right there!" Billie Joe pointed at Adie's empty car.
"So?" Kyle shrugged again.
He felt the steam rise in him. He felt that urge to want to rip the flesh off this guys bones. Billie gritted his teeth.
"Look Kyle. Let us in right now! Adie needs to get home. I'm not in the mood for any games."
Kyle stepped out of the door way, towering over Billie Joe.
"Get the fuck out of my property and leave me alone!"
Billie Joe stepped up to Kyle, fists clenched at his side.
"No." he said raising his fist and shoving it into Kyle's face.
"Billie Joe!" Katie screamed.
Kyle put his hands up to his nose, trying to stop the blood from spilling down his face.
Kyle looked down at his blood stained hand and then angrily lunged at Billie Joe.
That morning when Billie Joe woke up he was all alone in bed, naked. He pulled the covers off and shuffled his way into the kitchen, sleepily. Adie spun around.
