Have To See It To Believe It, chapter 5
"Uh sure..." Mily said as Billie led her to a random room. She gawked at the room and its amazing features. She liked the Big Flat Screen T.V. the most. She walked in and sat down on the futon bed. She watched as Billie frantically paced around the room. He looked at her.
"Okay," he sighed, "I think Libby is Tre's other daughter."
"What? How can that be?" she asked sort of confused.
"Well," he began, "Me, Mike, and Tre all had daughter, except for Mike who had a son named Nick. Anyhow, all three of us gave them up for adoption on the same day, a couple days after you were born. Mike's son Nick moved to Illinois, and Tre's daughter Elizabeth went to Arizona but then moved to your city along with Nick." Mily stared and then smiled.
"Wait...what was Nicks adopted parents' last name?" Mily asked sort of switching the subject.
"Huh well I think it was Cade or something like that," he replied wondering why she had switched the subject.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! THAT'S MY BOYFRIEND!" she screamed in excitement, "I'M GOING OUT WITH MIKE DIRNT'S SON!"
"Wait, Nick lives in this city too?" he asked.
"Yup! I can't wait to tell him!"
"Well let's go get him! It will be a hell of a lot easier to explain things to them," Billie said grabbing Mily's hands and leading her out the door.
"Hey where are you two going?" Libby asked and Mily and Billie started leaving the hotel.
"Oh we will be right back, we're just going to get some pizza." Which wasn't really a lie because all of them were hungry.
They left the hotel and Mily showed Billie where Nick lived. They both got out of the car and walked up the driveway.
"Okay..." Mily said. They knocked on the door and Nick appeared with his puppy.
"Mily? What are you doing here?" he asked in utter confusion, "And who's that with you?"
"Well I uh...I was wondering if you wanted to sleep over at my hotel room suite tonight?" she asked as Nick still eyed Billie.
"Uh sure but, how did you get enough money to rent a suite?" he asked and invited them both in.
"Well actually I uh..."
"I paid for it," Billie spoke up and took off his hat and sunglasses. "Wow this is awkward. Well I'm Billie Joe Armstrong if you don't know that already." Nicks eyes widened as his favorite band's frontman stood in front of him.
"Yeah, Nick this is my dad, I mean my real dad. I was adopted. That's what we came to tell you but there's more to the story, we will tell you and Libby when we get back to the penthouse suite. Okay?" Mily said noticing the look on Nick's face.
"Okay! But is Mike going to be there? Mily you know he's my idol."
"Yes he will be there and so will Tre, they both have to do with what we are going to tell you."
"OKAY!" He smiled and grabbed Mily's hand and pulled her to his room.
"Billie feel free to look around and watch T.V. or something if you want!"
*In Nick's Room*
"Wanna help me pack for the night?" Nick asked looking through his closet for a backpack to put his things in. He pulled one out and through it on his bed. He found one and threw it on his bed. He turned to Mily with a devilish grin on his face. He ran up to her and hugged her. She hugged him back. He pulled away and looked into her deep green eyes. Nick leaned forward and kissed Mily softly on the lips, and she kissed him back.
"I love you Emily Christine Clerico," he said and hugged her again. He went over to his drawer and pulled out some clothes out and gave them to her.
"I love you too Nicholas Alan Cade," she said and placed the clothes into his bag. They went back into the living room where Billie was supposed to be, But couldn't see any sign of him.
