Hey, Isnt That the New Kid?, chapter 1

"Brriinngg." The bell rang signaling the end of our lunch period. My best friend Caiti and I left our lunch seats and started to head towards our third block class.

"Man, I seriously hate my next class." Caiti stated while walking through the hallway.

"Yeah, me too. In my class it's the same thing everyday; quiz, notes, homework." I responded

"Well... I have a test today, a three page due tomorrow which I haven't even started yet, and probably about five pages of homework that I also have to do tonight! Man... Mr. Johns can suck it!" Caiti basically yelled. I laughed at her as she soon realized we were standing right in front Mr. John's class.

"Well, this is me." Caiti said while turning into her class.

"K, later." I replied.

While I continued walking to my class I saw my other two best friends Billie Joe and Mike. They were talking to each other, most likely about music. Billie was so concentrated on his conversation that when I purposely bumped into him he dropped his books and his loose papers that were just stuffed into his binder flew everywhere.

"What the fuck dude?!" Billie yelled as he bent down to collect his things; on his way back up from bending down he started to realize who ran into him.

"Oh, it's just you Liv. Hey what's up?" he questioned while hugging me.

"Not much Billie, just about to get a nice nap like usual, you?" I answered while embracing him back then moving on to Mike. "Hey Mike" I said after leaving Mike's arms.

"Hey Liv" Mike responded.

"So, Liv," Billie Joe started "wudda doin' after school today?"

"Probably being bored, why?"

"No reason, I just wanted to see if you wanted to come over to my house and hang out... Ya know... Play video games, eat some junk food, the normal stuff we do at my house. I texed Caiti and she said she'll be there and Mike is always there cause it seems he doesn't have a house of his own, so yea."

"Yup" Mike chimed in, obviously not hearing the "burn" he just got from his friend.

"Umm, sure." I said to Billie while silently laughing at Mike's attempt to try to enter the conversation.

"Cool, see ya after school then." Billie said as the late bell rang through out the school. I nodded in understanding as the three of us headed to our classes.
