Hey, Isnt That the New Kid?, chapter 3

I must've finally fallen asleep because I was awaken by a shrill scream. I jurked my head up to see what the fuss was about when I saw Ashely and Megan both standing on their chairs.

"What hapeened?" I asked Robert, a guy next to me.

"A lizard jumped through the window onto Megans books and ran onto the floor." he responded.

"That's it?!" I said in disbelief. I looked to my right to see what Tre was doing only to find out he wasn't there. "Where's Tre?" I asked.

"Who?" Robert questioned back.

"Tre, you know the new kid." I responded in a 'duh, you retard' tone.

"Oh, Frank." Robert said now obviously understanding. He pointed to a lump on the floor near the corner. As I followed his finger to where he was pointing I saw Tre get up from his hunched position with a lizard in his hands.

"Mr. Wright" began Ms. Turrner "Please dispose of that throught the window."

"Yes ma'am" Tre said while finding his was out of the corner and over to the window.

"Megan, Ashely sit down, class to your seats." Ms. Turrner said while returning to the board.

The two girls sat, along with the rest of the class. I looked at Tre to see this mischievous look on his face. He looked at me and winked, I then watched his every move.

Right before he reached the window I saw him move one hand to the tail of the lizard and slightly turn his body toward the middle of the class. I started getting an idea of what he was doing. The next thing I know Tre quickly hung the lizard by the tail and dangled it in front of Megan. Megan screamed bloody murder as Ashely looked over to see what see was screaming about, saw the lizard in Megans face and screamed louder then her friend (which was odd because the lizard wasnt even near her and she was freaking out). The two girls ear piercing scream made Ms. Turrner turn around so fast she practically gave herslef whip-lash.

"MR. WRIGHT!!" Ms. Turrner yelled. Tre quickly pulled the lizard back and clapsed his hands around it. "PUT THAT THING OUT! AND MEET ME AFTER SCHOOL FOR A DETENTION!" she continued to yell.

"OK" Tre replied with success in his voice.

After dumping the lizard out the window Tre returned to his seat reciving high-fives from the guys and looks of disgust from the girls, all of them but me that is.

"That was insane!" I told him once he reached is seat, "Nice work."

"Thanks, it kinda just came to me" Tre answered back while doodling on his piece of paper.

"I can't belive you did that man; they are the two most popular people in school." I said in awe, like it was the prank of the century or something.

"Oh, I just did it cuz they were so afraid of a tiny lizard. No biggie." Tre said looking up from his artwork to talk. I could tell Tre was proud of his achivments that day by the way he talked and the tone of his vocie.

"Yeah, well" I started until Ms. Turrner rudly cut me off.

"Ms. Parker, warning number two, one more and you'll be here with Frank after school."

I stared at her then under my breath I said in a sarcastic quivering voice " Oh no, not that please." Tre must have heard me beacuse he laughed a litlle then returned to drawing. I watched him draw for a while then turned my head and looked out the window smiling, "This class might finally become interesting." I said to myself.
