Tour of Our Lives, chapter 2

We were in the bus, getting to know each other. Jason White and Jason Freese were yet to be picked up. Tre and I had become friends pretty fast. We were like twins. But by no means was I attracted to him. He was just too... I don't know, like me.

"This is an awfully long period of time for your first tour." Sean whined after nearly sucking the face off of Kirin. Kas agreed and gave Rachel and kiss on the cheek. Nate looked at me and smiled. Then he frowned.

"It's getting late, what about sleeping arrangements?" he said, furrowing his eyebrows. There was silence and Tre came up with an idea.

"We'll have a sleep over! Everyone can sleep on the floor." Tre said, jumping up. I quickly nodded. I loved sleepovers. They rocked Darren's black and grey socks. Yeah, that's right, I think Darren is sort of cool, but he hates me.

"Yeah!" we all said in unison. We set everything up. We were soon all on the floor. I was between Darren and Nate. When I accidentally brushed Darren with my leg, he tensed up. It was like he didn't want to be near me.

"Night, love yas!" I sung and closed my eyes, drifting off into a steady sleep.

I woke up to see Nate on top of Darren's arm and me around my waist. Creepy. Oh well, I got up, trying not to wake them up and lightly laughed at the way they were laying when I got up. Nate's face had landed on Darren's "happy spot". Instead of being nice and moving them, I checked to see if anything would wake them up. Nope, they were dead asleep. I lifted Darren's hand on top of Nate's head, giving the look more of an "effect". After I was done with that, I went to go get something to eat. I heard someone scream and someone moan. Nate was up and Darren was apparently getting his pleasure.

"What the hell is wrong?" I asked, trying not to laugh. Nate's scream had awoken the others, who were now yelling at him.

"What the fuck man?" Kas said, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. Kirin looked like she was about to punch him. Darren didn't know what was going on. I smirked as I watched everybody. Nate got up and ran to the bathroom, screaming. Everything had seemed to register in Darren's mind. His eyes widened as he stared at his pants. There was a bulge. Everyone was now staring at him. He franticly ran to the bathroom and took a shower, while everyone stared at him, confused.

"He just got some unwanted action." I said, explaining it to them. Still confused, they all nodded and got up. We all got ready and headed off to the mall. Darren was unusually talkative today.

"So, where is your first concert?" he asked me, shoving his hands in his pockets and looking at the ground. I thought to myself for the moment, trying to remember where we were. I turned towards Nate and asked him.

"We're in Chicago. We'll be playing at the main concert hall." He said, smiling. I smiled back turned around to talk to Darren. I smile at him and got him to look up. He didn't smile back; I don't think he ever smiles.

"Um, we should be playing at the main concert hall." I told him, smiling he nodded and looked away from me. He was silent the whole way to the mall.

We all went our separate ways. I went to the tattoo place around the corner, as did Darren. Everyone else all went to Shelf's, a store that sells a shit load of skateboarding shoes.

"Yeah, I would like this please." I said, handing him a piece of paper with my drawing on it. He studied it and smiled.

"Rosetta Stone? Are you in the band? I've heard of them, they're pretty cool." He said. I smiled and nodded.

"Thanks, I'll be sure to tell my fellow band members." I said and he smiled. He took me to the back of the room and laid me down on the chair.

"Where do you want it?" he asked. I lifted up my pant leg where my ankle was. The ankle that didn't already have a tattoo on it. He nodded and started the outline.

When he was done with the whole thing, it looked beautiful. It was a rose stone with the engraving of the name Rosetta Stone, the bands motto. I walked out of the small room and paid for a tattoo. I saw Darren standing at the front counter. He was staring at two cards.

"Hey, are you getting a tattoo?" I asked peeking over his shoulder to see the designs he picked out. He nodded, confused.

"I don't know which one I want." He said, scratching the back of his neck. I looked at the two designs he picked out, they were fucking awesome. This guy had good taste.

"I like that one." I said, pointing to the Chinese symbol. I didn't know what it stood for, but I'm a sucker for Chinese symbols. He looked over at me and nodded. He then smiled faintly. My god he has a cool smile.

"Yeah, thanks, I'll get that one." He said and told the artist, who took him back to the room. The artist then came back into the room where I was standing, without Darren.

"Uh, I think you might want to help him. It'd his first tattoo." He said, scratching the back of his head. I laughed and nodded, knowing what I needed to do. He escorted me back to the room where Darren had a look of pain on his face.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay, it's just the outline that hurts." I soothe as he nodded. I stepped up to him and held his hand while the artist went back to work. God can that man scream.

"What did you get?" he asked me. I lifted up my pant leg and tore off the white gauze paper, showing him the tattoo. He nodded in approval.

"Can I see yours?" I asked. He looked uneasy for a moment and lifted his shirt. He took off the white pad and showed it to me. I touched the spot under the tattoo because I couldn't see it. His breath hitched and he tensed up under my touch. I smiled and nodded.

"Fucking awesome, man." I said. He said thank you as we both headed down to Shelf's.

"Look at these!" I said, pointing to a pair of Dravens, they were like converse, but these shoes had band names on them. The shoes had a skull on them.

"Pretty fuckin cool." Rachel said, admiring them. I smiled and grabbed them.

"Mine!" I said. Tre looked at me weird.

"Those are just a knockoff of converse." He said, confused. Everything went silent. Tre raised an eyebrow.

"Don't go there, man." Kas said, widening his eyeballs. Darren lifted his pant leg to show his Dravens. They had the Sex Pistols sign on them.

"No they aren't, look here, it says the date right here." He said, motioning towards the date. Tre nodded and looked down.

"Sorry." He said sheepishly. I looked down to my old worn out Dravens. They had the Misfits on them. I nodded and smiled.

"You scared me there." I said, laughing. I brought my shoes up to the counter and paid for them. Rachel high fived me.

"Awesome shoes. I'll have to borrow them sometime." She said. I shook my head.

"They're all mine." I said, hugging the shoes. I had jus realized at I was the only person that had gotten anything.

"Where do you guys want to go?" I asked. They all wanted to go to Hot Topic. I nodded. Hot Topic wasn't really my kind of store, but they had a lot of stuff that I liked. We went into the store. Slipknot was playing. I personally loved Slipknot, but I guess it was only me, Darren, and Nate that liked them. Nate slid his arm around my waist and nudged his nose into my neck.

"You should get that." He said, pointing to a skimpy corset. I laughed and threw it into the bag.

"It will be a long time until I'll be wearing that." I said, smirking. He pouted, making his new lip ring stick out. He looked really funny so I burst out laughing. Bad idea. And the worst part is that I forgot to wear a disguise. People started looking at me and pointing. I hid behind the coat rack.

"Hey aren't you from Rosetta Stone?" some kid asked. For fucks sake, our new album, Alternate Ending, had just come out! I shook my head and dragged the two people beside me, Darren and Nate, out of the store, everyone else following.

"Our album just came out!" Nate said, exasperated. I smiled and laughed.

"Just be glad we have fans." I said, snuggling up into his arms. He smiled and rested his head onto mine. We were like that the whole walk home.

'We are fucking here!" Tre said, busting the door to the bus on. I laughed at him and smiled. I looked at the clock. Shit, our concert is in a few hours. I told everyone that and we all got ready. We were at the concert hall by six.

Everything went great that night. We had a whole lot of fans, more than we ever thought. Of course, Green Day had a lot more, but who really cares?

I just hoped everything gets to hectic, but what I didn't know, it really would.

The next few star struck months were terrible. I had people across the nation wanting to beat Nate up. I had people across the nation wanting to beat me up! Pictures that I would never show anybody were now posted on the Internet, along with my most personal information. I almost got caught beating up some girl that tried to kiss Nate. Now, to make it all worse, I was the total bitch of J14.

"You're not a whore." Rachel said, throwing the stupid magazine at the wall. They had just gotten a picture of me kissing Sean on the cheek. It was not intimate and Nate knew that. Tears were now streaming down my face. I couldn't handle all this stress.

"I know! Isn't that what they think, though? What am I next? The new Paris Hilton?" I sobbed. Rachel hugged me and rubbed my back.

"But you're not." She stated calmly and firmly. I nodded and wiped my face. I knew I was acting childish. Everything was getting so out of hand. I guess that is what happens when you're a first time star.

"Why don't we get our hair dyed?" Rachel asked, trying to cheer me up. I smiled and nodded. My hair has been purple for six years! We headed off to the closest convenient store.

"I want this colour!" I said, pointing to magenta. She snickered and shook her head.

"What is it with you and the colour purple?" she asked, picking up the box and looking at the colours.

"I'm going to go blue." She said, picking up another box and looking at it.

"Didn't Billie Joe die his hair that colour before?" I asked. She thought for a moment.

"Yes, I did." I turned around and there stood Billie. We must have had confused looks on our faces because he started laughing.

"I was bored." He explained, looking at the colours. He picked up a bleach blond colour and rubbed his chin.

"So you decided to stalk us?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. He looked up at me and looked at Rachel, shrugging.

"Yeah." He said simply. I couldn't take it. I just burst out laughing, and I couldn't stop. Billie looked at me weirdly.

"Is she broken?" he asked. Rachel nodded.

"She'll get along with Adrienne just fine then," he said, going up to the counter and paying for the hair dye, not jus his, but all of ours.

"Hey! I can pay for myself!" I pouted. He turned around and smirked.

"Hay is for horses, and to bad." He said, handing me that hair dye.

"Nobody likes you, Billie." I joked. He smirked again. God does this guy like to smirk.

"That's why I have friends, Chelsea." He said, mocking me. I huffed and said thank you.

"Yeah, you and Adrienne are going to get along just fine." He said. Rachel raised an eyebrow.

"Your wife?" she asked. Billie shook his head.

"No, my pet rock. Yes dumbass, my wife." He said, sarcastically. Rachel raised her eyebrow once again.

"Is she coming?" she asked. Billie nodded and smiled.

"She and the boys will be coming out for the rest of the weekend, I'll be picking them up at the airport in a half hour." He said happily. I smiled.

"It'll be great to get to know her. I hope she doesn't think I'm a whore." I said, looking down.

"She wouldn't, why would she think that?" he asked, ruffling my hair. I grabbed his hand off my head and left it at his side and sighed.

"Tabloids." I stated. He nodded and adjusted his sunglasses.

"She knows better. She has to live with them." He said, running a hand through his hair. I nodded and looked at the box he was carrying.

"You're going blond?" I asked. He looked at me and nodded. I started to laugh again. We were silent the rest of the way home.
