Tour of Our Lives, chapter 3
"Well, biznatches, I've got to go pick up my family!" Billie said, putting a hat on his newly blond hair. Rachel and I stared at him.
"What's wrong?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows. Rachel and I looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"Y-you look l-like a lemon!" I yelled, still laughing. Billie sighed and smirked.
"At least I don't look like a raspberry! You know what, I'm going to call you Razz from now on." He said, laughing. I glared at him and playfully slapped him on the arm.
"That makes me sound like a gay stripper!" I yelled. Billie, Rachel, and Michelle burst out laughing. Billie looked me up and down.
"Yep, you definitely would fit in as a gay stripper." He joked, earning a kick in the shin. I pulled my now magenta hair into a messy bun. Billie hissed in pain as he clutched his knee.
"Fuck! I think you dislocated my kneecap! Owww! Fuck!" Billie yelped. Tre walked in and laughed.
"Okay, so who's going with me?" Billie asked, getting over his "dislocated kneecap". I looked at Michelle and Rachel and they shrugged. I smiled and nodded.
"I would love to meet the woman who could put up with you for eleven years." I smirked. Billie grunted and flicked me. I flicked him back. He giggled and poked me in the side. This continued until he looked at the clock.
"Okay, come on Razz. It's about time to go." He said franticly. I fixed my hair as I got Rachel and Michelle off the couch.
"Come on fat asses." I grumbled. They got up as Billie pulled us outside. He had rented a car and ushered us to get in.
"Come on!" he said. I laughed and got in. We were there in a minute, thanks to Billie's speeding. We pulled into the airport and Billie practically ripped off his seatbelt and kicked open the car door. He grabbed our arms and led us to the front lobby, where I could see a woman who looked in her early twenties and two kids. I smiled when I saw them. They were Billie's family. He immediately hugged the two boys and kissed them on their forehead while they rubbed it off. He turned to his wife and gave her a peck on the lips.
"Adie, meet Chelsea, Michelle, and Rachel. They are a part of Rosetta Stone." He said smiling. Adrienne looked at us, not really knowing what to do. I couldn't blame her. A man that was considered sharing one tour bus with girls that were just barley adults wasn't exactly what she was hoping for. She smiled and turned to Billie.
"Are we ready to go?" she asked. I smiled at her. I didn't think she liked me very much. Billie nodded as we headed off to our hotel. When we got there, Adrienne didn't look at me once. She did glare at me a few times, but that was it. I kind of smashed myself in the back, trying to be unnoticed. I tried talking to her but she just scowled. I finally gave up and went up to the hotel room. Billie had gone out with the guys. I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and there stood a sorry looking Adrienne.
"Can I come in?" she asked. I smiled and nodded. I stepped a side to let her in.
"I came to say I'm sorry for acting like a total bitch. The fact that Billie is always on tour always gets to me." She said looking me in the eyes. "Can you forgive me?" she asked. I nodded.
"No hard feelings. My boyfriend is like that." I said, hugging the older woman. She gladly accepted and hugged me back. We pulled away from our embrace as she smiled.
"You want to get the girls and go around the town? I've never been to Denver." I asked. She nodded.
"Me neither, and shopping with guys for eleven years isn't much fun." She said. I smirked.
"Yep, Billie the lemon isn't much fun to shop with." I said. She smirked and raised an eyebrow.
"Billie the lemon?" she said laughing. I nodded.
"He wouldn't stop calling me Razz. That name makes me sound like a gay stripper." I pouted.
"He shouldn't be talking. He's just jealous of you because he wants to be a gay stripper." She said, laughing. I nodded seriously.
"I knew it. Those times with Nate were real!" I fake sobbed. Adrienne laughed and pretended to be sympathetic by rubbing my back.
"Don't worry. Who's Nate?" she said with a confused look on her face.
"My boyfriend." I smiled. She nodded.
"So, are we ready?' I asked the girls as they got ready. I earned a nod and we were out of the hotel lobby.
"So, Chelsea, tell me about the embarrassing stuff Billie does." Adrienne asked, looking my way. I smirked. This was payback.
"Okay, this one time, he was really drunk, and Tre dared him to jump off the tour bus into the pool of water, naked. He accepted it and ended up getting temporary frost bite on his balls." I said, laughing. Adrienne laughed as well at the relived memory. I pulled myself together.
"I was walking with him to go to the hair salon and he had his hat on over his eyes. He asked me to tell him where he was going, that was a big mistake. He ended up walking into some tall woman's breasts face first, earning a slap across the face." By this time Adrienne was in hysterics.
"Oh my god. You guys are so mean to each other." She giggled. I nodded.
"Yeah, he's like a brother to me. We're really good friends." I said. She smiled warmly and nodded.
"Billie is a lot worse. He stalked Rach and me once." I said. "He scared the shit out of me." I said, brining my hand up to me chest, dramatically.
"Oh, wow. Now Billie has done numerous things. Like one time, he peed off the roof of the house to see if it would kill someone. I don't think he has ever stalked anybody though." She smirked. Kirin parked the car in front of the mall.
"Time for shopping." Michelle shouted.
We went back to the hotel, exhausted, with bags falling out of our hands. Billie looked at us and laughed. Then his eyes widened.
"What did she tell you Adrienne?" he asked. Adrienne shook her head.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out." She giggled. Billie sighed.
"Hey Chelsea, I'd hate to bring this onto you, but could you baby sit the boys? Adrienne and I are going on a date." He pleaded. I smiled and nodded. I love kids.
"Sure, I love kids." I said. Billie sighed and wiped his forehead with relief. His kissed both of my cheeks friendly like until I pushed him away. I wiped at my cheeks.
"Eww, man. Say it don't spray it." I said disgusted. Adrienne laughed.
"I know, he's really sloppy, isn't he?" she asked I nodded.
"You should see his mess on the bus. I always end up cleaning it. It's like a bomb exploded in there!" I said. Adrienne laughed and nodded. Billie smirked.
"That's why we love you, m' dear." He said, patting my shoulder. I looked at him.
"You mean you don't love me for my appealing good looks and sense of humor?" I fake sobbed. Billie smirked, once again and nodded.
"Yep." He stated simply. I slapped his hand playfully.
"Bastard." I said. He smirked as two children; one of about fifteen and one of about twelve ran through.
"We don't need a baby sitter!" groaned the eldest. He looked me up and down.
"On second though, I think we do." He said. Billie looked at Adrienne, scared. Adrienne looked at Joey, I presume, widening her eyes.
"Joey, are you okay?" she asked, getting him to stop looking at me. He nodded. Boy, was in for a night!
"What's wrong?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows. Rachel and I looked at each other and burst out laughing.
"Y-you look l-like a lemon!" I yelled, still laughing. Billie sighed and smirked.
