A Different type of Green Day story., chapter 2
He didn't know that he could go that long without stopping. He looked down at the floor and got off of Adrienne.
"Billie, what is it?" she asked for she had not looked at the ground yet. When she did she sat up and wrapped her arms around his waist, trying not to look at them. There were four huge rats sitting on the floor right beside the bed, now looking up at them. One of them hissed, making Adrienne come closer to him. She screamed when two tried to jump on the bed, almost knocking Billie to the floor.
"Where are my pants?" he asked looking around the room. He looked on the opposite side of the room where the rats were not yet at. He bent over and grabbed his pants and underwear, putting them on. He couldn't see his shirt so he got up, stepping off of the bed to grab his shoes. When he got them on he got her clothes and handed them to her. She was hiding under the blankets so that the rats couldn't get her, so he had to pull the blankets off of her, then handing her the clothes.
"Put them on." She grabbed them and sat up getting dressed. He bent over and grabbed two of the rats around the neck so that they couldn't bite him, he walked over to the window and opened it throwing them out. Adrienne was sitting up on the bed watching the other two run under the bed. Billie got down on his stomach and reached under the bed to get hem.
"Ow! It bit me!" he got back up holding his hand as blood trickled from the rat bite. He got up and grabbed a dirty shirt and held it to his hand, so it soaked up the blood.
"Are you okay?" Adrienne asked while looking around for her shoes.
"Yeah." When most of the blood was gone, he grabbed a band aid and put it on. He got back down and used the shirt to grab the rat closest to him. When he got it he walked over to the window and dropped it out, going back for the other one. When he bent down it jumped at him, he fell over and tried to back away.
"Billie he's going to bite you again." He looked at her and smiled, "You think?" He got back up and walked over to the window. He looked down to see if the three were still down on the ground. They were, and they looked dead. He smiled again, then frowned.
"I'm a murderer! I killed a rat! Three rats! How evil!" Adrienne started to laugh, and almost fell off the bed.
"Billie, you really are a freak!" he looked at her and held back a laugh. He was on his knees, his hands in his lap.
"What, don't you feel bad for them?"
"If I did I would have stopped you, don't you think?"
"I guess." He was in his weird mood again. He bent over once again and grabbed the rat by the hind leg as it was about to hide under the dresser by his window. "Guess what? You're going out the window!" he stood up and slowly let go of it, laughing when it hit the ground.
"He did the splits!" Adrienne got up and ran to the window.
"Ow my gosh! He is still doing it!" she was right. When he looked back out, the rat's back legs were still spread apart.
"Do you think he's stuck?"
"Yeah, sure looks like it anyways." Billie had his hand over his mouth as he looked over at Adrienne.
"So he has to die doing the splits? That would kind of suck." She laughed at him and walked over to the bed sitting down on it. He closed the window and looked at the clock. It was 9:13; his dad would be coming home about now if he hadn't died six years before. His smile faded as he looked at the pictures on the window, tears filling his eyes.
"Billie, what's wrong?" Adrienne said softly.
"Nothing. Hey, you wanna go ride the horses? You can ride Chestnut this time, he shouldn't be any trouble."
"Okay, and maybe Jim and Christie can come too."
"I'll call, there are enough horses, and Jimmy and me used to ride all day, don't look at me like that, I didn't mean it like that."
"Can I call Christie?"
"Sure, I'll call Jimmy on my cell." He handed her the small wall phone that sat off the hook on his desk while he called Jimmy.
***Jimmy and Billie***
"Hey, is Jimmy there?"
"Yeah, who is this?"
"Billie."
"Okay, just a minute Billie," the person on the other line said as she pulled the phone away from her mouth and screamed Jimmy's name who was heard running down the stairs and apparently fell.
"Yeah? Who got hurt, what do I do?"
"Nothing, and no one, Billie's on the phone, he wants to talk to you." She gave him the phone and he started talking.
"Yellow?"
"Hey Jimmy, me and Adie were wondering if you and Christie would like to come to my house and ride horses, we really have nothing better to do."
"Well, I probably can, but I don't know about Chrissy, I'll call her if you want."
"Nah, Adie's already beat you to it, she called her when I called you."
"How'd you like getting your nuts squeezed today?"
"Well if it had been anyone besides her I would have minded, but it actually gave a pretty good feeling when you push aside the fact that it scared the shit out of me."
"You could tell, you should've seen you face, you like turned red, well, first white and then red, it was funny."
"Yeah, for you, it didn't happen to you."
"It could of as easily as it did you."
"That was gross when Kayla dared is to make out."
"You have to admit, it was fun."
"Aside from having a girlfriend, then you could say so." They both laughed on the phone at that.
"B.J., she said she'll come as long as Jimmy is."
"Jim, you coming or not, Christie will if you do."
"Just a minute, I have to ask my mom." He put his hand over the mouth piece and yelled to his mother. "Can I go to Billie's house?"
"What for?"
"To ride horses, beside that I don't know."
"Be back by, wait, Jimmy, it's almost nine-thirty."
"I know, just a minute."
"Billie, she says it's almost nine-thirty."
"Thanks for being my clock. Well, you could spend the nigh, I'm sure my mom wouldn't mind."
"Ask her then."
"Just a minute." He sent Adie down to ask his mom and when she came running back up he told Jimmy. "She's fine with it."
"Okay I'll ask my mom then." He put the phone down again and asked his mom. "She said yes, as long as I'm back by noon tomorrow."
"Why'd you have to ask your mom?"
"Well, I was bad. Let's put it that way."
"What'd you do this time?"
"I went out drinking with Andrew last night after I promised I would not do so until I was in my twenties, but I don't know why she's letting me come over to your house tonight."
"Because I know Billie doesn't do that and he'll make sure that you are not doing so." He heard Jimmy's mom say in the background. "Adie, he's coming, ask if she's spending the night."
"She already said she would."
"Okay, do you two need a ride or are you goanna pick her up?"
"I'll probably pick her up on my way to your house."
About twenty minutes later Jimmy and Christie were knocking on the front door. Adrienne got up to answer the door but Billie had already beaten her to it.
"Hey Jimmy, Christie."
"Hey. It seems like only a little while ago that we were talking together."
"Do you realize that?"
"What?"
"We were talking to-get-her. We are going to get her." Jimmy said.
"And I thought Billie was weird, but now I can't because of you!"
"Not my fault is it?" Jimmy said acting like he was mad.
"Hey, there was this group of girls in the car next to us and they were whistling at Jimmy, he rubbed himself in front of them, and then flipped them off."
"Oh Jimmy, I thought we agreed to quit making people Horne a long time ago."
"I did too, until tonight, it was so freaking funny though, they smiled so much, until I flipped 'em off, then they scream 'you fucking asshole, we thought you were a man whore!' it was so mean."
"I bet, poor Jim's never had anyone say that before."
"Except for the first time I met him, I thought he was trying to rub my butt."
"Well, everyone thinks he'd do that, even I did the first time I met him."
"Um, Billie, you two met in first grade."
"And your point?"
"How could you think he was trying to rub your butt at that age?"
"My mom said I started rubbing butts when I was born. She said that I was so anxious to get out that I rubbed her bonny ass."
"Nice picture Jimmy, real nice."
"I thought so too."
"Okay, enough about the butt rubbing, can we please go do what we came here for?"
"My mom said no sex."
"Um, I meant ride the horses."
"My mom said no sex."
"Jimmy, I said 'ride the horses' not hump each other." Jimmy and Billie had a smile on their faces. "What?"
"Ride the horses."
"Huh, oh Billie." She said punching each of their arms.
"You know, I heard that this one guy had sex with his horse and was found dead the next day." Billie said as they walked out to the stables. "It was said that he was pushing too hard and his dick came off and he didn't think he'd be able to live without it so he committed suicide."
"Did you make the whole story up, or start out truthful and lead into a fairytale?"
"The whole thing was made up."
"Hey, it's up!"
"What's up?" Adie and Christie asked at the same time while Billie grinned.
"It's up!"
"Jimmy, nice, nice thoughts put into our heads."
"Well, it's up!"
"What's up?"
"That thing that is used to make Baby's, that's, it?"
"Maybe."
"You two are just complete freaks."
"Uh-uh! That's not nice to say, we are complete-"
"-Complete dickheads." Jimmy finished for him.
"Well, that wasn't exactly what I was goanna say, but that works too." All four of them laughed. They walked up to the stables while Billie grabbed two bridles from the tack holder on the wall. "Jimmy, you can ride... " he looked at the seven horses that were in the stalls and back at Jimmy. "You see that gray and white splotched one over there? His name's Heilyah, sister's horse. He's really nice, do you wanna ride him?"
"Sure, if he doesn't decide at the first minute I get on to buck me off."
"He's not that fucked up."
"Sure." He walked over to Jimmy and handed him one of the two bridles, "do y'know how to put it on?"
"Yeah, we used to have horses, remember?"
"Oh, yeah, well here." Jimmy took it with a thank-you and walked over to Heilyah. "Hey boy. Um, Billie, how do you say his name?"
"Heel-yeah."
"Okay... " he said looking confused.
"My sister was pissed off and when she saw him all she could say was heel-yeah, but mom wouldn't let her keep 'Hell'. She is weird."
"Uh, I'd say." Billie walked over to Chestnut and looked at Adrienne. "You still wanna ride her?"
"Is she as sweet as you say?"
"I really wouldn't tell you she was if she wasn't. Yes." He laughed. She walked over to the horse as Billie helped her put on the bridle. "Okay Christie, um, how about Sugar?"
"You want me to ride your dog?" She laughed as she looked away from Jimmy's butt.
"Not unless you would rather go ride his butt." He said pointing to Jimmy as he turned around to see who he was talking about. "Excuse me?"
"Nah, okay, how about Rain, she's real nice and she gets along with Chestnut really well."
"Where is she?"
"Over here." Billie said leading her over to a pure white horse."
"Oh my god, she looks like an angle!"
"Well, you could call her that, but only at times. You want to ride her?"
"Yes, of course."
"Do you know how to put the bridle on?"
"Yeah, I used to have two horses."
"More likely hell-bound huge dogs. They were asses!"
"Not in a donkey way?"
"No, actual asses, they were, well, not normal."
"Even though they were mine, I must admit to it."
"Do any of yours have a bad attitude?" Adie asked Billie.
"Besides mine, no."
"Are you goanna ride it?"
"Yeah, he's been my baby for over four years, he's only nice to me at times though, so be careful."
"You hade better be careful, not us."
"Yeah, but you need to be more careful." He said as he walked over to a huge black horse.
"So, that's you horse?"
"Yeah, why?"
"He's, he's just so big, and... scary."
"Uh-huh."
"What's his name?"
"Thunder, my dad named him, before he gave him to me."
"How old was he when you got him?"
"About two and a half months."
"Good age." They heard someone say behind them. "What?"
"Good age, now I suggest that you get out of here."
"Who are you?" Billie called. He couldn't see anyone in the night shadows in the barn. "Get out and give me the horse."
"Why do you want my horse? And what are you goanna do, kill me?"
"I could."
"Oh shit. Billie let's just leave."
"Christie, you and Adie go back to the house."
"Not without you guys."
"Just go!" they both looked shocked but left anyways. The two watched them leave only to hear a piercing scream. "Help!"
"Let her go!" Billie yelled as he saw Adie being pulled away. "Give me all the money you got."
"Just a minute ago you wanted the horses, now you want money?!" Jimmy yelled.
"Let her go." Billie said in a low but scary voice. When everyone looked over Billie had a gun in his hands. "Billie, where'd you get that?" Adrienne asked shaking.
"It was my dad's, and it was used just for this kind of stuff. Now let her go, or I will shoot." The guy backed away but also pulled out a gun. "You get away!" he shot at the ground near Billie's foot but missed. "You gotta have a better aim than that to kill someone." Christie said. "Actually, no, if he aimed for a lower part of him and misses, he may hit him in the heart, or head." Adie corrected her. Christie looked down. Just as the man was about to shoot again Adie kicked him in the nuts. "You try to shoot my boyfriend, I'll kill you." The guy was lying on the ground holding himself. "Adie, I didn't know you could kick like that. "
"Like what?"
"You split his nuts open."
"Ow." Billie and Jimmy said at the same time covering themselves up. "Yeah ow, you better start walking or I'll do it again."
"Better yet, Thunder!" Billie called. The horse bent its neck and took out the stall lock with his mouth, pushing the door open and running over to them. "Thunder, good boy, now why don't you do your business?" the horse shook its head towards the ground and walked over to the guy and stood butt over face.
"Oh gross." Christie said as a big pile of shit landed on the mans face. He tried to stand up but the horse was still standing over him so he couldn't. He started kicking at the knees of Thunder but the horse kept letting loose. "Good boy. Now, do you still want the horse?" He asked the man. He shook his head and tried to get up but Billie slammed him back down. "You wait. The police may want to talk to you." The man tried to push him back but he was too strong. Billie shoved him back down. "You try to touch me again and it won't only be the police visiting you."
"What do you mean?" he asked him angrily.
"I mean, if you touch me, I'll have to kill you, so that makes a trip for the paramedics. Well, if they care about you anyway." Billie said while Jimmy came back with a lead rope.
"What's that for?"
"To tie him up."
"I've really taught you well." Billie joked.
"Oh yes sir, the first pot smoking experience was taught well."
"Well, except for that. Your mom almost kicked my ass for that!" he said as Jimmy handed him the rope.
