The party had just ended. Adrienne was cleaning up. Sarah walked over to her.
"Can I help at all," Sarah asked.
"Sweetie, thanks for the offer. Yes you can help if you want," Adrienne said.
Sarah helped Adrienne clean up.
"I also wanted to say thank you for everything," Sarah said.
"You're welcome. It was quite a honour having you as our guest," Adrienne replied.
It was Sarah's turn to cry tears of joy and happiness.
***
It was late, and Sarah was tired. Billie and Adrienne agreed to let Sarah spend the night at their house. Joey and Jacob were at their grandparents for a week anyway, so there was room. Billie showed Sarah to her room.
"I wanted to say how much I appreciate what you have done for me these past six months," Sarah said.
"No problem. It was my pleasure," Billie replied.
"I really don't know how to say this. You have been like a brother to me," Sarah said.
Billie didn't know what to say.
"Awww. Thank you," Billie finally said.
Billie said good night to Sarah, and let her sleep.

Billie went downstairs to see if Adrienne was done cleaning up. Indeed she was. Billie found Adrienne sitting on the coach watching television.
"Want to know something?" Billie asked.
"Sure," Adrienne answered as she turned off the television.
"There is something about Sarah. She is a truly special person," Billie said.
"Yes she is truly special," Adrienne replied.
"Sarah has touched my heart so much that words can't even describe how happy I am to see her alive," Billie said.
"That's really sweet of you to say," Adrienne replied back.
Billie was truly touched by Sarah.
***
It was the next morning. Sarah was all ready to go home. She said her good-byes, and thank you again. Billie told Sarah before she left that he would send her a backstage pass for the next show. Sarah was thrilled. If it weren't for this tragic accident, Sarah and Billie would have never met. Nor would Sarah and Billie have become such close friends. They remained friends still today. They still keep in touch too.
"It's comedy and tragedy. It's St. Jimmy, and that's my name."
