Tre Cool And The Chicken Named Larry, chapter 1
Tre Cool had a chicken named Larry. Larry is a fairly stupid chicken but according to Tre he talks. I’m saying that Larry’s fairly stupid because he runs around knocking into walls and runs in circles until he gets too dizzy and either falls over or knocks himself unconscious. That’s enough about Larry lets get back to the story.
Once upon a time there lived a chicken named Larry and he had an owner named Tre Cool. Tre always liked Larry more than the other chickens; this was because Larry could talk. The first time Tre heard Larry talk was when he was ten years old…that is Tre not Larry. He told his friends Billie Joe and Mike but they only replied that he was probably hearing things. Tre knew he wasn’t. After five years Tre decided that it was time to prove to Billie Joe and Mike that Larry could talk.
After long thought Tre came up with a plan. He made a “Big Brother� chicken house full of cameras and hi-tech computers. After two days he moved Larry in.
Tre watched Larry carefully for three whole days. On the third day of watching he saw Larry doing the “can-can� and singing “Livin la Vida loca� by Ricky Martian. The female chickens that were dancing with him were dressed in bright pink hotpants. So the next day he showed Billie Joe and Mike. Unfortunately, the video had run out of tape at the crucial stage. Billie and Mike stood there looking at Tre with confused looks on their faces, and Mike said, “Tre stop wasting our time, that stupid chicken can’t talk�. “Yeah, let’s go do something worthwhile�, said Billie Joe. Tre protested but it was no use. Tre was frustrated that Billie Joe and Mike never took him serisouly. Tre needed to talk to Larry.
Tre found Larry practising his ballroom dancing accompanied by a very attractive female chicken. Tre dragged Larry away to a separate room. “Larry, you have to help me. I need you to do a favour for me.�
“What do you want me to do?� said Larry.
“You’ve got to talk to Billie Joe and Mike, they won’t believe anything I say�, replied Tre. Larry refused. He knew the humans would make a fuss and his life will never be the same.
The next day Tre was feeling totally miserable. Billie Joe and Mike were over at Tre’s house. When they came across Tre’s “secret� camera room. Where Tre would watch Larry doing some very unusual stuff. Billie Joe and Mike watched in amazement as they saw, Larry wearing red Speedos and doing breaststroke, in the “Big Brother� house pool.
